耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治百姓各样的疾病。

若没有奉差遣，怎能传道呢？如经上所记：“报福音、传喜信的人，他们的脚踪何等佳美！”

凡听见天国的道而不明白的，那恶者就来，把撒在他心里的夺了去；这就是撒在路旁的了。

但耶稣对他们说：“我也必须在别的城传神国的福音，因我奉差原是为此。”于是耶稣在犹太的各会堂传道。

他设立的十二个人有西门—耶稣又给他起名叫彼得，还有西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰—耶稣又给他们起名叫半尼其，就是雷的儿子—又有安得烈、腓力、巴多罗买、马太、多马、亚勒腓的儿子雅各、达太和激进党的西门，还有出卖耶稣的加略人犹大。

这十二个人有西门（耶稣又给他起名叫彼得），还有他弟弟安得烈，又有雅各和约翰，腓力和巴多罗买，马太和多马，亚勒腓的儿子雅各和激进党的西门，雅各的儿子犹大和后来成为出卖者的加略人犹大。

这十二使徒的名字如下：头一个叫西门（又称彼得），还有他弟弟安得烈，西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰，腓力和巴多罗买，多马和税吏马太，亚勒腓的儿子雅各，和达太，激进党的西门，还有出卖耶稣的加略人犹大。

主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华用膏膏我，叫我报好信息给贫穷的人，差遣我医好伤心的人，报告被掳的得释放，被捆绑的得自由；宣告耶和华的恩年和我们的神报仇的日子；安慰所有悲哀的人，为锡安悲哀的人，赐华冠代替灰烬，喜乐的油代替悲哀，赞美为衣代替忧伤的灵；称他们为“公义树”，是耶和华所栽植的，为要彰显他的荣耀。

我们报好信息给你们，就是那应许祖宗的话，

“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我宣告：被掳的得释放，失明的得看见，受压迫的得自由，

耶稣吩咐完了十二个门徒，就离开那里，往各城去传道，教导人。

耶稣走遍各城各乡，在他们的会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，又医治各样的病症。

于是他走遍全加利利，在他们的会堂传道，并且赶鬼。

那天使对他们说：“不要惧怕！看哪！因为我报给你们大喜的信息，是关乎万民的：因今天在大卫的城里，为你们生了救主，就是主基督。
