You levy a straw tax on the poor and impose a tax on their grain. Therefore, though you have built stone mansions, you will not live in them; though you have planted lush vineyards, you will not drink their wine.

You make poor people pay tax on their straw. You also tax their grain. So, even though you have built stone houses, you won’t live in them. You have planted fruitful vineyards. But you won’t drink the wine they produce.

Therefore because you trample on the poor and you exact taxes of grain from him, you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink their wine.

You trample the poor, stealing their grain through taxes and unfair rent. Therefore, though you build beautiful stone houses, you will never live in them. Though you plant lush vineyards, you will never drink wine from them.

Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact a grain tax from him, you will never live in the houses of cut stone you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.

Therefore because you impose heavy rent on the poor And take a tribute of grain from them, Though you have built houses of cut stone, Yet you will not live in them; You have planted beautiful vineyards, yet you will not drink their wine.

Therefore, because you tread down the poor And take grain taxes from him, Though you have built houses of hewn stone, Yet you shall not dwell in them; You have planted pleasant vineyards, But you shall not drink wine from them.

Forasmuch therefore as ye trample upon the poor, and take exactions from him of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink the wine thereof.

Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact a grain tax from him, you will never live in the houses of cut stone you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.

Forasmuch therefore as your treading[ is] upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

Therefore, because you make the poor pay taxes on their crops and exact a grain tax from them, you will not live in the houses you built with chiseled stone, nor will you drink the wine from the fine vineyards you planted.

你撒種，卻不得收割；踹橄欖，卻不得油抹身；有新酒，卻不得酒喝。

他們的財寶成為掠物，房屋變為廢墟。他們建造房屋，卻不得住在其內；栽葡萄園，卻不得喝其中所出的酒。」

你們卻羞辱貧窮的人。欺壓你們，拉你們到公堂去的，不就是這些富有的人嗎？

你聘了妻子，別人必與她同寢；你建了房屋，卻不得住在其內；你栽植了葡萄園，卻不得享用所結的果子。

於是我說：雅各的領袖，以色列家的官長啊，你們要聽！你們豈不知道公平嗎？你們惡善好惡，剝我百姓身上的皮，從他們的骨頭上剔肉，你們吃我百姓的肉，剝他們的皮，打斷他們的骨頭，如切塊下鍋，如釜中的肉。

他們的屍首將倒在大城的街道上；這城按着靈意叫所多瑪，又叫埃及，就是他們的主釘十字架的地方。從各民族、支派、語言、邦國中有人觀看他們的屍首三天半，又不許人把屍首安放在墳墓裏。住在地上的人會因他們而歡喜快樂，互相饋送禮物，因為這兩位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。

我要拆毀過冬和避暑的房屋，象牙的房屋必毀滅，廣廈豪宅都歸無有。」這是耶和華說的。「你們這些撒瑪利亞山上的巴珊母牛啊，當聽這話！你們欺負貧寒人，壓碎貧窮人，對主人說：『拿酒來，我們喝吧！』

你們撒的種多，收的卻少；你們吃，卻不得飽；喝，卻不得足；穿衣服，卻不得暖；領工錢的，領了工錢卻裝入有破洞的袋中。

他們看上田地就佔據，貪圖房屋便奪取；他們欺壓戶主和他的家庭，霸佔人和他的產業。

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家；他所喜愛的樹就是猶大人。他指望公平，看哪，卻有流血；指望公義，看哪，卻有冤聲。禍哉！你們以房接房，以地連地，以致不留餘地，只顧自己獨居境內。

就是悖逆，否認耶和華，轉去不跟從我們的神，口說欺壓和叛逆的話，心懷謊言，隨即說出；公平轉而退後，公義站在遠處，誠實仆倒在廣場上，正直不得進入；

你撒在田裏的種子雖多，收的卻少，因為蝗蟲把它吃光了。你栽植修整葡萄園，卻沒有酒喝，也不得儲存，因為蟲子把它吃了。

他們建造房屋，居住其中，栽葡萄園，吃園中的果子；並非造了給別人居住，也非栽種給別人享用；因為我百姓的日子必長久如樹木，我的選民必享受親手勞碌得來的。
