He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

看哪，那創山，造風，將其心意指示人，使晨光變幽暗，踩行在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華－萬軍之神。

他造北斗、參星、昴星，以及南方的星宿；

「到那日，我要使太陽在正午落下，使這地在白晝黑暗。」這是主耶和華說的。

那在天上建造樓閣、在地上奠定穹蒼、召喚海水、使其傾倒在地面上的，耶和華是他的名。

你造黑暗為夜，林中的百獸就都爬出來。

他從黑暗中彰顯深奧的事，使死蔭顯出光明。

「你能為昴星繫結嗎？你能為參星解帶嗎？你能按時領出星宿嗎？能引導北斗與其眾星嗎？

那些坐在黑暗中、死蔭裏的人，被困苦和鐵鏈捆鎖，是因他們違背神的言語，藐視至高者的旨意。所以，他用勞苦制伏他們的心；他們仆倒，無人扶助。於是他們在急難中哀求耶和華，他就拯救他們脫離禍患。他從黑暗中、從死蔭裏領他們出來，扯斷他們的捆綁。

或為責罰，或為他的地，或為慈愛，都是他所行的。

他差遣黑暗，就有黑暗；他們沒有違背他的話。

挪亞六百歲那一年的二月十七日，就在那一天，大深淵的泉源都裂開，天上的窗戶也敞開了，四十晝夜有大雨降在地上。正在那日，挪亞和他的兒子閃、含、雅弗，以及挪亞的妻子和三個媳婦，都一同進入方舟。他們和一切走獸，各從其類；一切牲畜，各從其類；地上爬的一切爬行動物，各從其類；一切的鳥，就是一切有翅膀的飛禽，各從其類；凡有生命氣息的血肉之軀，都一對一對到挪亞那裏，進入方舟。凡有血肉的，都一公一母進入方舟，正如神所吩咐挪亞的。耶和華就把他關在方舟裏。洪水在地上氾濫四十天，水往上漲，使方舟浮起，方舟就從地上漂起來。水勢洶湧，在地上大大上漲，方舟在水面上漂蕩。水勢在地上極其浩大，普天下所有的高山都淹沒了。水勢洶湧，比山高出十五肘，山嶺都淹沒了。

要照亮坐在黑暗中死蔭裏的人，把我們的腳引到和平的路上。』」

第七次，僕人說：「看哪，有一小片雲從海裏上來，好像人的手掌那麼大。」以利亞說：「你上去告訴亞哈，當套車下去，免得被雨阻擋。」霎時間，天因風雲黑暗，降下大雨。亞哈就坐上車，往耶斯列去了。

「你有生以來，曾命定晨光，曾使黎明知道自己的地位，抓住地的四極，把惡人從其中驅逐出來嗎？

破曉時分，耶和華從雲柱、火柱中瞭望埃及的軍兵，使埃及的軍兵混亂。他使他們的車輪脫落，難以前行，埃及人說：「我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧！因耶和華為他們作戰，攻擊埃及了。」耶和華對摩西說：「你要向海伸手，使水回流到埃及人，他們的戰車和戰車長身上。」摩西就向海伸手，到了天亮的時候，海恢復原狀。埃及人逃避水的時候，耶和華把他們推入海中。海水回流，淹沒了戰車和戰車長，以及那些跟着以色列人下到海中的法老全軍，連一個也沒有剩下。

我要引導盲人行他們所不認識的道，引領他們走他們未曾走過的路；我在他們面前使黑暗變為光明，使彎曲變為平直。這些事我都要做，並不離棄他們。

「你能向密雲揚起聲來，使傾盆的雨遮蓋你嗎？

耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸出你的手，使黑暗籠罩埃及地；這黑暗甚至可以摸得到。」摩西向天伸出他的手，濃密的黑暗就籠罩了埃及全地三天之久。三天內，人人彼此看不見，誰也不敢起身離開原地；但所有以色列人住的地方卻有光。

你用深水遮蓋地面，猶如衣裳；諸水高過山嶺。你的斥責一發，水就奔逃；你的雷聲一發，水就奔流。諸山上升，諸谷下沉，歸你為它所立定之地。你定了界限，使水不能超越，不再轉回淹沒大地。

那坐在黑暗裏的百姓看見了大光；坐在死蔭之地的人有光照耀他們。」

我們用手摸牆，好像盲人，四處摸索，如同失明的人；中午時我們絆倒，如在黃昏一樣，在強壯的人中，我們好像死人一般。
