You have come to Jesus. He is the go- between of a new covenant. You have come to the sprinkled blood. It promises better things than the blood of Abel.

為此，基督作了新約的中保；因為他的死，贖了人在第一個約之時所犯的罪過，使蒙召的人能得着所應許永遠的產業。

摩西把血灑在百姓身上，說：「看哪！這是立約的血，是耶和華按照這一切的命令和你們立約的憑據。」

耶和華說：「你做了甚麼事呢？你弟弟血的聲音從地裏向我哀號。

因着信，他設立逾越節，在門上灑血，免得那毀滅者加害以色列人的長子。

如今耶穌已經得了更優越的事奉，正如他作更美之約的中保；這約原是憑更美之應許立的。

因着信，亞伯獻祭給神比該隱所獻的更美，因此獲得了讚許為義人，神親自悅納了他的禮物。他雖然死了，卻因這信仍舊在說話。

因為只有一位神，在神和人之間也只有一位中保，是成為人的基督耶穌。

那麼，我們該用誠心和充足的信心，同已蒙潔淨、無虧的良心，和清水洗淨了的身體來親近神。

因為這是我立約的血，為許多人流出來，使罪得赦。

如此，地上所有義人流的血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在聖所和祭壇中間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止。

就是照父神的預知，藉着聖靈得以成聖，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地賜給你們！

飯後他照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約，為你們流出來的。

「看哪，日子將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新的約。這是耶和華說的。這約不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。那些日子以後，我與以色列家所立的約是這樣：我要將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。這是耶和華說的。

他又照樣把血灑在帳幕和敬拜用的各樣器皿上。

既是起誓立的，耶穌也作了更美之約的中保。

但願賜平安的神，就是那憑永約之血，把羣羊的大牧人－我們主耶穌從死人中領出來的神，

耶穌對他們說：「這是我立約的血，為許多人流出來的。

就是從亞伯的血起，直到被殺在祭壇和聖所中間的撒迦利亞的血為止。是的，我告訴你們，這都要向這世代的人追討。

所以神指責他們說：「主說，看哪，日子將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新的約；

當側耳而聽，來到我這裏；要聽，就必存活。我要與你們立永約，就是應許給大衛那可靠的慈愛。
