伊梢後來之如何切望降福、而卒見拒絕、爾所知也。蓋大錯已鑄、噬臍莫及；雖痛哭流涕而求之、亦徒然矣。

我要向他們宣告：『我從來不認識你們，你們這些作惡的人，給我走開！』」

以撒為雅各祝福完畢，雅各才從他父親那裏出來，他哥哥以掃正打獵回來。以掃也做了美味，拿來給他父親，對他父親說：「父親，請起來，吃你兒子的野味，你好為我祝福。」他父親以撒對他說：「你是誰？」他說：「我是你的兒子，你的長子以掃。」以撒就大大戰兢，說：「那麼，是誰打了獵物拿來給我呢？你未來之前我已經吃了，也為他祝福了，他將來就必蒙福。」以掃聽了他父親的話，就大聲痛哭，對他父親說：「我父啊，求你也為我祝福！」以撒說：「你弟弟已經用詭計來把你的福分奪去了。」以掃說：「他名叫雅各，豈不是這樣嗎？他欺騙了我兩次：他先前奪了我長子的名分，看哪，他現在又奪了我的福分。」以掃又說：「你沒有留下給我的祝福嗎？」以撒回答以掃說：「看哪，我已立他作你的主，使他的弟兄都給他作僕人，並賜他五穀新酒可以養生。我兒，那麼，現在我還能為你做甚麼呢？」以掃對他父親說：「我父啊，你只有一個祝福嗎？我父啊，求你也為我祝福！」以掃就放聲而哭。他父親以撒回答說：「看哪，你所住的地方必缺乏肥沃的土地，缺乏天上的甘露。你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必服侍你的兄弟；到你強盛的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。以掃因他父親給雅各的祝福，就怨恨雅各，心裏說：「為我父親居喪的時候近了，到那時候，我要殺我的弟弟雅各。」

「你們要努力進窄門。我告訴你們，將來有許多人想要進去，卻不能。等到一家之主起來關了門，你們才站在外面敲門，說：『主啊，給我們開門！』他要回答你們說：『我不認識你們，不知道你們是哪裏來的。』那時，你們要說：『我們在你面前吃過喝過，你也在我們的街上教導過人。』他要對你們說：『我告訴你們，我不知道你們是哪裏來的。你們這一切不義的人，給我走開！』

人必稱他們為被拋棄的銀子，因為耶和華已經拋棄了他們。

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有份、並嘗過神的話的美味，和來世權能的人，若再離棄真道，就不可能使他們重新懊悔了；因為他們親自把神的兒子重釘十字架，公然羞辱他。

因為我呼喚，你們不聽，我招手，無人理會。你們忽視我一切的勸戒，拒聽我的責備。你們遭難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，驚恐如狂風來臨，災難好像暴風來到，急難痛苦臨到你們身上，我必嗤笑。

如果我們領受真理的知識以後仍故意犯罪，就不再有贖罪的祭物，惟有戰戰兢兢等候審判和那將吞滅眾敵人的烈火了。任何人干犯摩西的律法，憑兩個或三個證人，尚且必須處死，不得寬赦，更何況踐踏神兒子的人，他們將那使他成聖之約的血當作不潔淨，又褻慢施恩的聖靈的人，你們想，他不該受更嚴厲的懲罰嗎？
