惟我語汝、見色而好之者、心已淫之矣、

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

But here is what I tell you. Do not even look at a woman in the wrong way. Anyone who does has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

But I tell you, everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

爾心勿戀其美色、勿為其眉睫所誘、

蓋凡在世者、如形軀之慾、眼目之慾、並此生之驕矜、皆非由父、乃由世也、

凡為己慾所誘惑者、乃見試也、慾既孕則生罪、罪既成則產死、

我既與目為約、安能顧視少女、

毋貪人之第宅、與其妻室、僕婢牛驢、及凡所有、○

日夕大衛自牀起、遊行於宮巔、見一婦沐浴、貌甚美、

彼地牧伯希未人哈抹子示劍見之、執之偕寢、而玷辱焉、

其目充淫色、不已於罪、煽惑不堅之人、心習貪婪、是為受詛之子、

然則將何言耶、律豈罪乎、非也、非由律則我未嘗知罪、如律不言毋欲、則我不知欲、然罪乘機、由誡而動諸欲於我中、蓋無律罪乃死、

如我心為婦女所惑、窺伺鄰舍之門、

夫我儕知律屬神、我屬形軀、自鬻於罪、

我觀萬事、皆有其限、惟爾誡命甚廣兮、○

惟我語汝、怒兄弟者干乎鞫、謂兄弟曰、愚者、干乎公會、曰妄者、干乎火獄、

嗣後主母目約瑟曰、與我偕寢、約瑟弗從、曰、主不知家事、以凡所有、歸我掌握、此家之中、莫大於我、除爾為主室外、無一不歸我者、曷敢干此元惡、獲罪於上帝、婦日誘之、約瑟弗從、不與偕寢、亦不與同在、一日入室治事、旁無家人、主母執其衣、曰、與我偕寢、約瑟棄衣而遁、婦見其遁、遺衣在手、則呼家人曰、主使希伯來人至此、調戲我儕、適來欲偕我寢、我厲聲號呼、彼聞我揚聲、遺衣逃遁而出、婦存其衣、以待主歸、至則告曰、爾所攜至之希伯來僕、入而戲我、我揚聲號呼、彼乃遺衣遁去、○主聞其妻言曰、僕待我如是、則怒、執約瑟下獄、即犯王章者幽囚之處、由是約瑟下獄、耶和華偕之、施以慈惠、令沾恩於司獄、司獄以獄囚悉畀約瑟掌理、獄中所為、悉由約瑟、司獄一無所顧、咸歸約瑟、蓋耶和華偕之、使其所為、無不亨通、

惟我語汝、勿與惡者敵、或批爾右頰、並轉左頰向之、

耶穌言竟、眾奇其訓、以其訓人若操權者、非若士子也、
