爾聞古者有言勿殺、殺則難免乎刑官、

“你们听见有吩咐古人的话，说：‘不可杀人’；又说：‘凡杀人的难免受审判。’

“你们听过有对古人说：‘不可杀人’；‘凡杀人的，必须受审判。’

“你们听过有对古人说：‘不可杀人’；‘凡杀人的，必须受审判。’

“你们听过吩咐古人的话，‘不可杀人，杀人的要受审判。’

“你们听过有这样吩咐古人的话：‘不可杀人，杀人的必被判罪。’

“你们听过那吩咐古人的话：‘不可杀人。杀人的，当遭受审判。’

「你們聽見有吩咐古人的話，說：『不可殺人』；又說：『凡殺人的難免受審判。』

「你們聽過有對古人說：『不可殺人』；『凡殺人的，必須受審判。』

爾聞有語古人云、勿殺、殺則干乎鞫、

爾聞有諭古人之言曰、勿殺人、殺人者當被審判、

爾已聞誡古人之言曰：「毋殺人、殺人者受判。」

“ You have heard that it was said to the people long ago,‘ You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’

“ You have heard what was said to people who lived long ago. They were told,‘ Do not commit murder.( Exodus 20:13) Anyone who murders will be judged for it.’

“ You have heard that it was said to those of old,‘ You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’

“ You have heard that our ancestors were told,‘ You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’

“ You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.

“ You have heard that the ancients were told,‘ You shall not murder,’ and‘ Whoever commits murder shall be answerable to the court.’

“ You have heard that it was said to those of old,‘ You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’

Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

“ You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

“ You have heard that it was said to an older generation,‘ Do not murder,’ and‘ whoever murders will be subjected to judgment.’

“ You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones,‘ You shall not murder;’ and‘ Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’

毋殺人。

毋殺人。

凡殺人者、有人為證、必死毋赦、證人惟一則不可。殺人者不得以金贖、必死毋赦。祭司長未死、而殺人者欲以金贖、離逋逃之藪、歸其故土、亦不可。如殺人命、則污衊斯土、殺人者未償命、則污仍不去、我耶和華居以色列族中、故不可加以污衊。

擊人死者殺無赦。如殺人非出有意、乃上帝假手於爾、我必示爾以可避之處。如惡謀詭計殺人、雖逋逃於祭壇、亦執以償。

爾聞有言、同人愛之、敵者憾之、

或獸傷人、或人相殺、凡流血殞命、殘害兄弟者、我必伸其冤。余造世人、與我維肖、故流人血者、人必流其血。

又聞古者有言、毋背誓願、指主而誓願者、必守之、

稱曰、此人非我所殺、其死非我所見、耶和華歟、爾贖以色列民、願赦其罪、勿以殺人之罪、歸之無辜、於是斯罪可赦。爾既行善於耶和華前、則殺人之罪不歸於爾。○

若以鐵器擊人至死、是誠殺人者、必死毋赦、若擲石擊人至死、是誠殺人者、必死毋赦、若以木器擊人至死、是誠殺人者、必死毋赦、被殺之戚屬、可報其仇、遇即殺之。若蓄怨而刺人、或伏要而射人、或生釁而手擊人、置人於死地、是誠殺人者、必死毋赦、被殺之戚屬遇即殺之、

殺人者、未見鞫於會眾、而被殺之戚屬欲報其仇、則可遁於斯邑、不致死亡。

爾聞有言、目償目、齒償齒、

古者有言勿淫、爾聞之矣、

我生無幾日、如影靡定、知識未擴、所貴乎博稽古昔、取法前人、

昔西魯雅子約押、背逆乎我、亦殺以色列族軍長二人、即尼耳子押尼耳、益帖子亞馬撒、彼於綏安之日、殘害人命、與戰鬥之際無異、以人血染所束之紳、所着之履、其事皆爾所知。循爾智慧以行、不使其皓然白首、安樂歸墓。

婦曰、疇昔人嘗有言、當往亞伯而諮諏、以斷事理。

於爾上帝耶和華所賜爾諸邑、各支派中、當立刑官族長、使其秉公鞫民、

王曰、可如其言而行、擊而葬之、於是約押流無辜之血、其罪不歸於我、亦不歸我父之家。彼刃擊二人、較己尤善、即以色列族軍長尼耳子押尼耳、猶大族軍長益帖子亞馬撒、我父大闢不之知也、今耶和華必以是罪歸之。
