天神語畢而杳。高乃流即召二僕與一虔誠之侍卒、

而瑪麗者、即曩以香油渥主、以其髮拭主之足者也。病者賴柴魯、即係其兄。姊若妹因遣人告耶穌曰：『主所寵者病矣！』

聞耶穌已自猶太至加利利、遂趨謁之、懇往救其子、蓋瀕危矣。耶穌曰：『不見靈徵異蹟、爾曹終不願信也。』

巴總及同守耶穌者、見地震及所歷諸事、皆惴焉而懼曰：『斯真天主子也。』
