耶穌又誨其徒曰：『昔有為富翁掌家者、人以其浪費財物、告其主、

耶穌又謂其徒曰、富人某、有一家宰、或以其耗主業訴於其主、

耶穌謂門徒曰、富人有操會者、或以耗主業訴其主、

耶穌又謂門徒曰、某富人有一司事者、或以其耗費主人之業、訴於主人、

Jesus told his disciples:“ There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions.

Jesus told his disciples another story. He said,“ There was a rich man who had a manager. Some said that the manager was wasting what the rich man owned.

He also said to the disciples,“ There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was wasting his possessions.

Jesus told this story to his disciples:“ There was a certain rich man who had a manager handling his affairs. One day a report came that the manager was wasting his employer’s money.

Now he said to the disciples,“ There was a rich man who received an accusation that his manager was squandering his possessions.

Now He was also saying to the disciples,“ There was a rich man who had a manager, and this manager was reported to him as squandering his possessions.

He also said to His disciples:“ There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and an accusation was brought to him that this man was wasting his goods.

And he said also unto the disciples, There was a certain rich man, who had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he was wasting his goods.

He also said to the disciples:“ There was a rich man who received an accusation that his manager was squandering his possessions.

And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

Jesus also said to the disciples,“ There was a rich man who was informed of accusations that his manager was wasting his assets.

He also said to his disciples,“ There was a certain rich man who had a manager. An accusation was made to him that this man was wasting his possessions.

主曰：『以爾度之、孰為忠敏之家宰、主可賦予職權、督理眾役、而能按時授糧者？

昔有人焉、將遠行、召其諸僕、託以家貲、有授金五千者、有二千者、有一千者、亦各因其才耳。託付既畢、遂登程。其受五千者、出而貿易、獲利五千。受二千者、亦獲利二千。受一千者、則出而掘窟於地、以埋其金。久之、主人返、與僕清計。受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」主曰：「俞、忠信之僕也？爾既忠於小事、將託爾以大事。其進而享乃主之樂。」受二千者亦謂曰：「吾主以二千金見託、予茲又獲二千。」主曰：「俞、忠信之僕也；爾既忠於小事、將託爾以大事。其進而享乃主之樂。」受一千者繼至、曰：「素知吾主刻薄寡恩、不播而穫、不散而斂；吾懼焉、因埋金於地；茲以原物奉璧。」其主應曰：「嗟爾惡而且惰之僕！爾既知予不播而穫、不散而斂、胡不以我之財、存諸錢賈、使予歸時亦得兼收本利乎！」亟奪其金、以授得有萬金之僕。蓋有者益之、使沛然有餘、而無者並其所有而奪之。其將斯無益之僕、投諸無明絕域、將有哀哭切齒者焉。

人當視吾輩為基督之臣僕、天主眾妙之司庫。夫世之所求於司庫者、亦惟忠信而已矣。

各按所賦才能、互相效勞、庶無負天主多方授才之美意。蓋凡百才能、皆屬天主之付託；爾當忠心耿耿，無忝所受之惠也。

而此子狎妓耗財、返則宰肥犢以享之！」

無何、季挾貲離家、遠遊異域、荒淫無度、

又次至曰：「主之金、依然在此、予受之即藏諸帕中。

蓋司牧乃天主之家宰、是宜無懈可擊、毋剛愎自用、毋暴氣動怒。凡嗜酒毆人、貪婪財貨、皆非所宜。

求而不得者、以爾求之不以其道、蓋爾所求者、徒為縱情恣慾而已

是故天國譬諸人君與群臣清計；始計時、有攜負銀千萬者至、

昔有一富翁、衣紫披紗、日事飲食宴樂；

尚有希祿家臣苦撒之妻若翰納、及蘇三納等多婦；諸婦皆以私蓄供耶穌及其徒者也。
