When they go out into the outer court where the people are, they are to take off the clothes they have been ministering in and are to leave them in the sacred rooms, and put on other clothes, so that the people are not consecrated through contact with their garments.

They will go into the outer courtyard where the people are. When they do, they must take off the clothes they have been serving in. They must leave them in the sacred rooms. And they must put other clothes on. Then the people will not be made holy if they happen to touch the priests’ clothes.

And when they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall put off the garments in which they have been ministering and lay them in the holy chambers. And they shall put on other garments, lest they transmit holiness to the people with their garments.

When they return to the outer courtyard where the people are, they must take off the clothes they wear while ministering to me. They must leave them in the sacred rooms and put on other clothes so they do not endanger anyone by transmitting holiness to them through this clothing.

凡觸着這祭肉的人或物、都會成為聖的：它的血若灑在衣服上，那灑的那一件、你要在聖的地方給洗淨。

他對我說：這就是祭司們煮解罪責祭肉、解罪祭肉、以及烤素祭的地方，免得帶出外院，將潔聖傳染於人民。』

祭司要穿上細麻布長衣；也要把細麻布褲子穿在身上；他要把祭壇上火將燔祭品所燒燬成的灰取下來，放在祭壇附近。然後把這衣服脫下，穿上別的衣服，將灰拿出營外潔淨的地方。

你要給祭壇行除罪染的禮七天，把它分別為聖，祭壇就成為至聖的；凡觸着祭壇的都會成為聖的。』

你要把這些東西分別為聖，好成為至聖；無論甚麼、凡觸着它們的、都會成為聖的。

亞波羅到底是甚麼？保羅是甚麼？無非是僕役，你們藉着他們而相信的、照主所賜給各人的罷了。我栽種了，亞波羅澆灌了，而使他長大的卻是上帝。

傻子瞎子啊，甚麼是較大的？是金子呢？還是那使金子成聖別的殿堂呢？你們又說：「凡指着壇起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着壇上的禮物起誓的，就必須負責任。」瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是較大的？是禮物呢？還是那使禮物成聖別的壇呢？

他對我說：『在隔開地對面的那些北屋南屋都是聖屋；親近永恆主的祭司們要在那裏喫至聖之物，在那裏存放至聖之物：就是素祭，解罪祭、和解罪責祭；因為那地方是聖的。祭司們進去，不可從聖所直接出來到外院；他們要在聖屋那裏存放他們供職時穿的衣服，因為那些衣服是聖的；他們要穿上別的衣服，才可以跟屬於人民的相接近。』
