賊若不被找到，那家主就必須被帶到官長面前、去查明他有沒有下手拿鄰舍的物件。

若找不到贼，那家主必就近审判官，要看看他拿了原主的物件没有。

若找不到贼，这家的主人就要到审判官那里，声明自己没有伸手拿邻舍的物件。

若找不到贼，这家的主人就要到审判官那里，声明自己没有伸手拿邻舍的物件。

倘若没捉到盗贼，邻居就要到审判官那里证明自己没有偷拿。

如果找不到窃贼，那家主必要到审判官（“审判官”原文作“神”）那里，查明他有没有下手拿去邻舍的财物。

如弗能獲、則解受托之人於士師、察其果取人物與否。

But if the thief is not found, the owner of the house must appear before the judges, and they must determine whether the owner of the house has laid hands on the other person’s property.

But suppose the thief is not found. Then the neighbor must go to the judges. They will decide whether the neighbor has stolen the other person’s property.

If the thief is not found, the owner of the house shall come near to God to show whether or not he has put his hand to his neighbor’s property.

But if the thief is not caught, the neighbor must appear before God, who will determine if he stole the property.

If the thief is not caught, the owner of the house must present himself to the judges to determine whether or not he has taken his neighbor’s property.

If the thief is not caught, then the owner of the house shall appear before the judges, to determine whether he laid his hands on his neighbor’s property.

If the thief is not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the judges to see whether he has put his hand into his neighbor’s goods.

If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall come near unto God, to see whether he have not put his hand unto his neighbor’s goods.

If the thief is not caught, the owner of the house must present himself to the judges to determine whether or not he has taken his neighbor’s property.

If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges,[ to see] whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.

If the thief is not caught, then the owner of the house will be brought before the judges to see whether he has laid his hand on his neighbor’s goods.

If the thief isn’t found, then the master of the house shall come near to God, to find out whether or not he has put his hand on his neighbor’s goods.

『你要在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的各城內、按着你的族派、為自己設立審判官和官吏；他們要按公義的判斷審判人民。

那麼他主人就要帶他到官長那裏，又帶他到門前，或是門柱旁；他主人要用錐子穿他的耳朵，他就得永遠服事主人。

『不可咒罵官長，不可咒詛你民間的首領。

上帝站立在神的會中，在諸神中行審判，說：

那麼、彼此爭訟的這兩個人就要站在永恆主面前、在當日做祭司做審判官者面前。審判官要仔細查究；如果那見證人是個假的見證人作假見證控訴他的族弟兄，

『為了任何侵害的案件，無論是為了牛、或驢、或羊、為了衣裳、或是甚麼失掉的東西，若有一人說：「這就是」，那麼兩造的案件就必須進到官長面前，官長定誰有罪，誰就必須加倍地賠償給他的鄰舍。

其中有二萬四千人監管永恆主之殿的工；有六千人做職員和司法人員；

『在你城內若有案件在流血與流血之間、辯訴與辯訴之間、毆打與毆打之間、爭訟的點太離奇、不是你所能判斷的，那麼你就要起來，上永恆主你的上帝所要選擇的地方，去見祭司利未人和當日做審判官的、去查問，他們便會將判斷的話向你宣告。
