其中之牧伯、猛若吼獅、其士師惡若豺狼、夤夜而出、愈肆其暴、盡嚙骨骸、至於詰朝、遺骼無存、

田畝屬我、汝乃賓旅、不得以田畝永鬻於人。

相鬥誤擊妊婦墮胎、而無他害、則當罰金、依夫所定、折中於士師。

亞吉信大闢、自謂大闢見惡於以色列族、必永為我僕。

我耶和華是夜將遍行通國、擊埃及人長子、與畜首生者、凡埃及人之上帝我必敗之。

曰、為今計、惟順輿情、以善言慰之、彼必永為爾僕。

如弗能獲、則解受托之人於士師、察其果取人物與否。毋論牛羊驢衣服諸物、已失之後、為事主認明者、必見士師、兩造具備、聽士師所斷、償之維倍。

於爾上帝耶和華所賜爾諸邑、各支派中、當立刑官族長、使其秉公鞫民、

勿詛士師、勿詈民長。

撒母耳年邁、使其子為以色列族士師。長名約耳、次名亞比亞、俱在別是巴為士師。

我命士師云、聽訟於宗族賓旅間、以正理為折中、

哈拿不往、謂其夫曰、我子斷乳、我將攜之、獻於耶和華、恆居其所。

爾於民中、簡其具才能、惡苞苴、真實無妄、寅畏上帝者、立為千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、使其隨時鞫民、事大則告爾、事小則自鞫、共任此職、則爾事輕易舉。若爾蒙上帝命、以行是事、則爾可常存、民亦安歸故土。摩西聆訓、遵外舅之言以行、於以色列族中、簡才能出眾者、立為民長、即千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、隨時鞫民、事鉅則往告、事細則自鞫。

爾不欲以牲牷祭祀、不喜燔祭以贖罪、爾詔告、我聽命兮、我曰典册載我、我自降臨、上帝有旨、我樂從兮、爾之律法、銘刻於心兮、

爾之士師、爾之謀臣、必復崛興、有如疇昔、則爾可為淳厚之民、敦龐之俗。
