我復見日下多有冤屈、受屈者流淚、慰之者無人、虐之者勢大、慰之者無人、

我又转念，见日光之下所行的一切欺压。看哪，受欺压的流泪，且无人安慰；欺压他们的有势力，也无人安慰他们。

我转而观看日光之下所发生的一切欺压之事。看哪，受欺压的流泪，无人安慰；欺压他们的有权势，也无人安慰。

我转而观看日光之下所发生的一切欺压之事。看哪，受欺压的流泪，无人安慰；欺压他们的有权势，也无人安慰。

于是，我又观察日光之下的一切欺压之事。我看见受欺压的泪流满面，无人安慰。因为欺压者有权有势，所以无人安慰他们。

我又看见日光之下所发生一切欺压的事：受欺压的流泪，却无人安慰他们；欺压他们的，手里握着权柄，因此无人安慰受欺压的。

我转眼又看到在日光之下所行的一切欺压。看哪，受欺压者流泪，无人安慰他们！权势在欺压他们的人手中，却无人安慰受欺压者！

我又轉念，見日光之下所行的一切欺壓。看哪，受欺壓的流淚，且無人安慰；欺壓他們的有勢力，也無人安慰他們。

我轉而觀看日光之下所發生的一切欺壓之事。看哪，受欺壓的流淚，無人安慰；欺壓他們的有權勢，也無人安慰。

我轉而觀看日光之下所發生的一切欺壓之事。看哪，受欺壓的流淚，無人安慰；欺壓他們的有權勢，也無人安慰。

於是，我又觀察日光之下的一切欺壓之事。我看見受欺壓的淚流滿面，無人安慰。因為欺壓者有權有勢，所以無人安慰他們。

我又看見日光之下所發生一切欺壓的事：受欺壓的流淚，卻無人安慰他們；欺壓他們的，手裡握著權柄，因此無人安慰受欺壓的。

我又看、日光之下所行的一切欺壓：看哪，受欺壓的流淚，無人安慰！欺壓他們的、手裏有勢力，也無人安慰！

我轉眼又看到在日光之下所行的一切欺壓。看哪，受欺壓者流淚，無人安慰他們！權勢在欺壓他們的人手中，卻無人安慰受欺壓者！

我轉觀日下所行之虐、見受虐者流涕、慰藉無人、行虐者有權、受虐者不得慰藉、

我復思天下之秉鈞者、虐遇民人、民罹其酷、靡不墮淚、慰藉無人。

Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed— and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors— and they have no comforter.

I looked and saw how much people were suffering on this earth. I saw the tears of those who are suffering. They don’t have anyone to comfort them. Power is on the side of those who treat them badly. Those who are suffering don’t have anyone to comfort them.

Again I saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun. And behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had no one to comfort them! On the side of their oppressors there was power, and there was no one to comfort them.

Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.

Again, I observed all the acts of oppression being done under the sun. Look at the tears of those who are oppressed; they have no one to comfort them. Power is with those who oppress them; they have no one to comfort them.

Then I looked again at all the acts of oppression which were being done under the sun. And behold, I saw the tears of the oppressed and that they had no one to comfort them; and power was on the side of their oppressors, but they had no one to comfort them.

Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter— On the side of their oppressors there is power, But they have no comforter.

Then I returned and saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and, behold, the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

Again, I observed all the acts of oppression being done under the sun. Look at the tears of those who are oppressed; they have no one to comfort them. Power is with those who oppress them; they have no one to comfort them.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of[ such as were] oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors[ there was] power; but they had no comforter.

So I again considered all the oppression that continually occurs on earth. This is what I saw: The oppressed were in tears, but no one was comforting them; no one delivers them from the power of their oppressors.

Then I returned and saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold, the tears of those who were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

我又見日下審判之所、竟有偏私、當行公義之處、反有不義、

萬有之主之葡萄園、即以色列族、所悅之嘉樹、即猶大人、冀其公義、反暴虐、冀其行善、反令人含冤、

然有王受國人之服役、凡事究於國有益、或作王營謀農事於國為益莫大

穫爾田之傭、爾不給其值、其值髣髴有聲呼籲、刈穫者之怨聲、聞於撒罷阿特主耳矣、

終夜哭泣、流涕盈腮、昔愛之者多、今則無人慰藉、良友辜負之、竟成仇敵、

耶路撒冷、若婦衣襟污穢、不念其終局、故傾敗異常、無人慰藉、自言曰、敵加刻虐、敵加刻虐或作敵人獲勝求主鑒我艱苦、

但此事得成、為應諸先知書所載、時諸門徒皆離之而奔、○

萬有之主曰、我必涖臨爾曹、施行審鞫、必速譴責、必速譴責原文作必亟為證以攻凡有邪術者、犯姦淫者、發假誓者、負負或作奪傭人值者、虐遇孤寡者、屈枉客旅而不敬畏我者、

失信逆主、不從我天主而退於後、所言者不義與悖逆、心懷詐偽之言、即出諸口、公平遠退、義理遙立、真實顛仆於街衢、正直欲入而不能、真誠不見、離惡者反受損害、其時主鑒觀、見無公義、則甚不悅、

求主向我右觀視、無人認識我、我無處避難、無人問我安危、

不以禾稈給僕、又命僕如數作磚、今僕見撻、是乃使王之民受罪、法老曰、爾惰矣、爾惰矣、故云、容我往祭耶和華、今爾往仍當操作、禾稈不給爾、磚必如數交納、以色列有司聞言、每日必如數交磚、不許減少、自知禍及乎己、

我向天主云、我倚主如磐、因何忘我、因何使我受仇敵凌虐、時常悲哀、

足疾趨行惡、速流無辜之血、思念皆屬邪慝、無論何往、惟行殘刻損害、

主向以色列人震怒、付之於非利士人與亞捫人之手、彼自此歲暴虐困苦居約但東亞摩利地之以色列人、即居基列地之以色列人、歷十八年、

我晝夜以淚為飲食、因人對我曰、爾之天主安在、

使人無衣、裸體露宿、使人寒冷、無衾蔽身、為山之猛雨所淋、因無庇所、棲身磐石、又有惡人奪孤子於母懷、取貧者之衣以為質、使之無衣、裸身而行、又使之饑負禾束、使之在墻院內造油、在壓酒處壓酒、而不得解渴、城中居民歎息、被傷者中心悲哀、或作城中將死者歎息被戮者之靈鳴冤乃天主不顧此等罪惡、

主曰、貧苦人被虐、困窮人歎息、我將興起、救其脫於欺之之人、救其脫於欺之之人或作救彼慕救之人

民與其妻大號呼、怨其同族猶大人、或曰、我與子女人數甚多、當鬻子女以糴榖、食而得生、或曰、我當質田畝、葡萄園、宅第、以糴榖充饑、或曰、我已質田畝、葡萄園、貸銀以納王之稅、我身與同族之身無異、我子女與同族之子女無異、今不得已將子女鬻為奴婢、我女早有為婢者、贖之無力、蓋我田畝葡萄園、已為人所得、

我受毀謗、中心憂傷以致成病、或作人淩辱我使我傷心愁慘不已我指望人矜恤、竟無此人、盼望人安慰、亦終不見、

暴虐能使智者為狂、賄賂能壞人心術、

假使爾處我境、則我亦能如爾言、亦能造辭責爾、亦能向爾搖首、

必授於虐遇爾者之手、彼曾謂爾曰、爾屈伏爾躬、任我儕由其上踰越而行、遂使爾背若塵土、若通衢、任人往來、

我仇敵終日毀謗我、向我猖狂者、指我賭誓、我食灰塵、如同食物、我所飲者、與淚調和、

法老命其民曰、以色列族生男、當投於河、女則全其命、

暗中潛伏、如獅在洞穴、潛伏以擄掠窮人、窮人陷其網中、遂擄掠之、屈身蹲伏、以俟困苦人陷其強暴之計、

是時爾必得見善人與惡人有別、有別原文作有何別下同事天主者與不事天主者有別、

耶賓王有鐵車九百乘、暴虐以色列人歷二十年、以色列人呼籲主、○

請爾復察、則知我無過、再究、必見我言無不義、

嚴督以色列人作苦役、使之辛勞工作、合土陶瓦、力田劬勞、艱苦其生、凡所使之役、無不以嚴、○

人而窮乏、即兄弟皆惡之、朋友更遠之、人縱有言以許、切切望得、亦無所得、人縱有言以許切切望得亦無所得或作雖以言遍求於人而無人應允

爾更行斯惡、使人淚沾濡主之祭臺、在祭臺旁涕泣號哭、以致主不垂顧所獻者、不悅納禮物於爾手、

伊及王命之曰、爾為希伯來婦收生、見其所產、若為男則殺之、女則存焉、

主使主之民以淚為食、使之飲淚、盈升盈斗、

我友乎、矜恤我、矜恤我、因天主之手責我、天主責我、爾何又加以逼迫、或作爾何為逼迫我如天主我身軀受害、爾猶以為不足乎、

有人因多遭虐待而歎息、緣被有勢者欺壓而呼號、

暴君轄制貧民、如咆哮之獅、饑餓之熊、無知之君、多行暴虐、不貪財利者、必享遐齡、

以貧虐貧、如暴雨沖糧、無有所存、

我首次申訴之時、無人護我、反皆離我、願主勿以此為罪而歸之、惟主左右我、剛健我、致福音由我盡傳、俾異邦人皆聞之、且我得救、脫於獅口、

爾之土產、爾劬勞所得者、將為爾所未識之民吞食殆盡、爾將受暴虐窘迫、恆久不已、

歷年既久、伊及王卒、以色列人因服役甚苦、太息號呼、因服役呼籲、籲聲上達於天主、天主聞其哀號、追念昔與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約、

故爾必饑渴、赤身裸體、匱乏一切、服事主所遣以攻爾之敵、彼必以鐵軛置於爾頸、將爾殲滅、
