When David finished saying this, Saul asked,“ Is that your voice, David my son?” And he wept aloud.

When David finished speaking, Saul asked him a question. He said,“ My son David, is that your voice?” And Saul wept out loud.

As soon as David had finished speaking these words to Saul, Saul said,“ Is this your voice, my son David?” And Saul lifted up his voice and wept.

因為我必賜你們口才和智慧，是你們一切敵人所敵不住、駁不倒的。

回答柔和，使怒消退；言語粗暴，觸動怒氣。

一句話說得合宜，就如金蘋果在銀網子裏。

正直言語的力量何其大！但你們責備是責備甚麼呢？

司提反是以智慧和聖靈說話，眾人抵擋不住，

以掃跑來迎接他，將他抱住，伏在他的頸項上親他，他們都哭了。
