Deuteronômio 28:23 - O céu sobre a sua cabeça será como bronze; o chão debaixo de vocês, como ferro.
Deuteronômio 28:24 - Na sua terra o Senhor transformará a chuva em cinza e pó, que descerão do céu até que vocês sejam destruídos.
Levítico 26:19 - Eu quebrarei o seu orgulho rebelde e farei que o céu sobre vocês fique como ferro e a terra de vocês fique como bronze.

1 Reis 17:1 - Ora, Elias, de Tisbe , em Gileade, disse a Acabe: “Juro pelo nome do Senhor, o Deus de Israel, a quem sirvo, que não cairá orvalho nem chuva nos anos seguintes, exceto mediante a minha palavra”.
1 Reis 17:2 - Depois disso a palavra do Senhor veio a Elias:
1 Reis 17:3 - “Saia daqui, vá para o leste e esconda-se perto do riacho de Querite, a leste do Jordão.
1 Reis 17:4 - Você beberá do riacho, e dei ordens aos corvos para o alimentarem lá”.
1 Reis 17:5 - E ele fez o que o Senhor lhe tinha dito. Foi para o riacho de Querite, a leste do Jordão, e ficou lá.
1 Reis 17:6 - Os corvos lhe traziam pão e carne de manhã e de tarde, e ele bebia água do riacho.
1 Reis 17:7 - Algum tempo depois, o riacho secou-se por falta de chuva.
1 Reis 17:8 - Então a palavra do Senhor veio a Elias:
1 Reis 17:9 - “Vá imediatamente para a cidade de Sarepta de Sidom e fique por lá. Ordenei a uma viúva daquele lugar que lhe forneça comida”.
1 Reis 17:10 - E ele foi. Quando chegou à porta da cidade, encontrou uma viúva que estava colhendo gravetos. Ele a chamou e perguntou: “Pode me trazer um pouco d’água numa jarra para eu beber?”
1 Reis 17:11 - Enquanto ela ia buscar água, ele gritou: “Por favor, traga também um pedaço de pão”.
1 Reis 17:12 - Mas ela respondeu: “Juro pelo nome do Senhor, o teu Deus, que não tenho nenhum pedaço de pão; só um punhado de farinha num jarro e um pouco de azeite numa botija. Estou colhendo uns dois gravetos para levar para casa e preparar uma refeição para mim e para o meu filho, para que a comamos e depois morramos.”
2 Samuel 21:1 - Durante o reinado de Davi houve uma fome que durou três anos. Davi consultou o Senhor, que lhe disse: “A fome veio por causa de Saul e de sua família sanguinária, por terem matado os gibeonitas”.
Joel 1:10 - Os campos estão arruinados, a terra está seca ; o trigo está destruído, o vinho novo acabou, o azeite está em falta.
Joel 1:11 - “Desesperem-se, agricultores, chorem, produtores de vinho; fiquem aflitos pelo trigo e pela cevada, porque a colheita foi destruída.
Jeremias 14:1 - Esta é a palavra que o Senhor dirigiu a Jeremias acerca da seca:
Ezequiel 14:21 - “Pois assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Quanto pior será quando eu enviar contra Jerusalém os meus quatro terríveis juízos: a espada, a fome, os animais selvagens e a peste, para com eles exterminar os seus homens e os seus animais!
Joel 1:16 - Não é verdade que a comida foi eliminada diante dos nossos próprios olhos, e que a alegria e a satisfação foram suprimidas do templo do nosso Deus?
Joel 1:17 - As sementes estão murchas debaixo dos torrões de terra. Os celeiros estão em ruínas, os depósitos de cereal foram derrubados, pois a colheita se perdeu.
Joel 1:18 - Como muge o gado! As manadas andam agitadas porque não têm pasto; até os rebanhos de ovelhas estão sendo castigados.
Joel 1:19 - A ti, Senhor, eu clamo, pois o fogo devorou as pastagens e as chamas consumiram todas as árvores do campo.
Joel 1:20 - Até os animais do campo clamam a ti, pois os canais de água se secaram e o fogo devorou as pastagens.
1 Reis 18:2 - E Elias foi. Como a fome era grande em Samaria,
Juízes 2:16 - Então o Senhor levantou juízes , que os libertaram das mãos daqueles que os atacavam.
Juízes 2:17 - Mesmo assim eles não quiseram ouvir os juízes, antes se prostituíram com outros deuses e os adoraram. Ao contrário dos seus antepassados, logo se desviaram do caminho pelo qual os seus antepassados tinham andado, o caminho da obediência aos mandamentos do Senhor.
Juízes 2:18 - Sempre que o Senhor lhes levantava um juiz, ele estava com o juiz e os salvava das mãos de seus inimigos enquanto o juiz vivia; pois o Senhor tinha misericórdia por causa dos gemidos deles diante daqueles que os oprimiam e os afligiam.
Amós 4:6 - “Fui eu mesmo que dei a vocês estômagos vazios em cada cidade e falta de alimentos em todo lugar, e mesmo assim vocês não se voltaram para mim”, declara o Senhor.

2 Reis 8:1 - Eliseu tinha prevenido a mãe do menino que ele havia ressuscitado: “Saia do país com sua família e vá morar onde puder, pois o Senhor determinou para esta terra uma fome, que durará sete anos”.
2 Reis 8:2 - A mulher seguiu o conselho do homem de Deus, partiu com sua família e passou sete anos na terra dos filisteus.
Gênesis 12:10 - Houve fome naquela terra, e Abrão desceu ao Egito para ali viver algum tempo, pois a fome era rigorosa.
Gênesis 26:1 - Houve fome naquela terra, como tinha acontecido no tempo de Abraão. Por isso Isaque foi para Gerar, onde Abimeleque era o rei dos filisteus.
