You have given us wine to drink

5Save with Your right hand, and answer me,

so that those You love may be rescued. Ps 17:7; 20:6; 138:7

6God has spoken in His sanctuary: Or has promised by His holy nature

“I will triumph! I will divide up Shechem. Gn 12:6; 33:18

I will apportion the Valley of Succoth. Gn 33:17

7Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine,

and Ephraim is My helmet; Dt 33:17; Jos 13:31

Judah is My scepter. Gn 49:10

8Moab is My washbasin. 2Sm 8:2

I throw My sandal on Edom; 2Sm 8:14

I shout in triumph over Philistia.” 2Sm 8:1

9Who will bring me to the fortified city?

Who will lead me to Edom? Jr 1:18

10God, haven’t You rejected us?

God, You do not march out with our armies. Ps 44:9

11Give us aid against the foe,

for human help is worthless. Ps 146:3
