For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty man.

我必拉開猶大為弓，把以法蓮搭在弓上。錫安哪，我要激起你的眾子，攻擊希臘的眾子！我必使你如同勇士的刀劍。

我以猶大為已彎之弓、以以法蓮為在弦之矢、錫安歟、我將激爾子、以攻雅完之子、使爾若勇士之劍、

我必以猶大家以法蓮族、為我弓矢、以射敵人、郇邑之民、攻擊雅番子、若武士之劍、足以殲人。

我以猶大為已張之弓、以以法蓮為所發於弓之矢、以以法蓮為所發於弓之矢或作我視以法蓮如矢囊充滿以矢者郇歟、我激爾之民、民原文作子攻雅完之民、民原文作子且使爾若武士之劍、

I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and make you like a warrior’s sword.

I will bend Judah as I bend my bow. I will make Ephraim’s people my arrows. Zion, I will stir up your sons. Greece, they will attack your sons. My people, I will use you as my sword.”

For I have bent Judah as my bow; I have made Ephraim its arrow. I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and wield you like a warrior’s sword.

Judah is my bow, and Israel is my arrow. Jerusalem is my sword, and like a warrior, I will brandish it against the Greeks.

For I will bend Judah as my bow; I will fill that bow with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece. I will make you like a warrior’s sword.

For I have bent Judah, My bow, Fitted the bow with Ephraim, And raised up your sons, O Zion, Against your sons, O Greece, And made you like the sword of a mighty man.”

When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.

I will bend Judah as my bow; I will load the bow with Ephraim, my arrow! I will stir up your sons, Zion, against yours, Greece, and I will make you, Zion, like a warrior’s sword.

For indeed I bend Judah as a bow for me. I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and will make you like the sword of a mighty man.

and he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me: and he hath made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he kept me close:

Mine anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he- goats; for Jehovah of hosts hath visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his goodly horse in the battle.From him shall come forth the corner- stone, from him the nail, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.And they shall be as mighty men, treading down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle; and they shall fight, because Jehovah is with them; and the riders on horses shall be confounded.And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back; for I have mercy upon them; and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Jehovah their God, and I will hear them.And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine; yea, their children shall see it, and rejoice; their heart shall be glad in Jehovah.

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.

These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.

Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head; but these are come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations, which lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.

and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem unto the sons of the Grecians, that ye may remove them far from their border;behold, I will stir them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompense upon your own head;and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the men of Sheba, to a nation far off: for Jehovah hath spoken it.

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be Jehovah’s.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.I have therefore my glorying in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man’s foundation;

Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teacheth my hands to war, And my fingers to fight:

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith:

The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, How are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem.And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.And the chieftains of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Jehovah of hosts their God.In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and they of Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of Jehovah before them.

For seeing that in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom knew not God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save them that believe.Seeing that Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek after wisdom:but we preach Christ crucified, unto Jews a stumblingblock, and unto Gentiles foolishness;but unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For behold your calling, brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put to shame them that are wise; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;and the base things of the world, and the things that are despised, did God choose, yea and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought the things that are:

And he shall stand, and shall feed his flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah his God: and they shall abide; for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.And this man shall be our peace. When the Assyrian shall come into our land, and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: and he shall deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our border.And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers upon the grass, that tarry not for man, nor wait for the sons of men.And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he go through, treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and there is none to deliver.Let thy hand be lifted up above thine adversaries, and let all thine enemies be cut off.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two- edged sword in their hand;

For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh( for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds);casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

The God that girdeth me with strength, And maketh my way perfect?He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: And setteth me upon my high places.He teacheth my hands to war; So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation; And thy right hand hath holden me up, And thy gentleness hath made me great.

Thou art my battle- axe and weapons of war: and with thee will I break in pieces the nations; and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two- edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These things saith he that hath the sharp two- edged sword:

And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem;and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning- hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Behold, I have made thee to be a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.Thou shalt winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and thou shalt rejoice in Jehovah, thou shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.And they that are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days.Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help; but many shall join themselves unto them with flatteries.

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.

And the rough he- goat is the king of Greece: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.And as for that which was broken, in the place whereof four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper and do his pleasure; and he shall destroy the mighty ones and the holy people.And through his policy he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and in their security shall he destroy many: he shall also stand up against the prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

and the rest were killed with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, even the sword which came forth out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Both low and high, Rich and poor together.My mouth shall speak wisdom; And the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, When iniquity at my heels compasseth me about?They that trust in their wealth, And boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him( For the redemption of their life is costly, And it faileth for ever),That he should still live alway, That he should not see corruption.
