And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

天使回答我，說：「這些是天上四方的風，站立在全地之主面前，現在從那裡出來了。

使者曰、此乃天之四風、侍於全地之主前、奉遣而出、

天使曰、此乃四天神、恆侍於天下之主側、今已出矣、

天使曰、此乃天之四風、風或作神靈曾侍立於普天下之主前、今已出矣、

The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.

The angel answered,“ The four spirits of heaven. They are going out to serve the Lord of the whole world.

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven who stand before the Lord of all the earth. They are going out to do his work.

The angel told me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.

The angel replied to me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out after taking their stand before the Lord of all the earth,

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel told me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.

And the angel answered and said unto me, These[ are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

The messenger replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven that have been presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel answered me,“ These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds, And his ministers a flame of fire:

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who maketh the clouds his chariot; Who walketh upon the wings of the wind;Who maketh winds his messengers; Flames of fire his ministers;

And the man that stood among the myrtle- trees answered and said, These are they whom Jehovah hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.And they answered the angel of Jehovah that stood among the myrtle- trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?

And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and I was sent to speak unto thee, and to bring thee these good tidings.

Then did the cherubim lift up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

And I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like unto a beryl stone.And as for their appearance, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been within a wheel.When they went, they went in their four directions: they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing the whirling wheels.And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.And the cherubim mounted up: this is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.When they stood, these stood; and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.And the glory of Jehovah went forth from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them: and they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of heaven brake forth upon the great sea.

And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people;and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand,he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name.Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel; these are the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Now it came to pass on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, that Satan also came among them.

And out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man;and every one had four faces, and every one of them had four wings.And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot; and they sparkled like burnished brass.And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings thus:their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and they four had the face of a lion on the right side; and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four had also the face of an eagle.And their faces and their wings were separate above; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; they turned not when they went.As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: the fire went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, one wheel upon the earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces thereof.The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto a beryl: and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel.When they went, they went in their four directions: they turned not when they went.As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and they four had their rims full of eyes round about.And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went; thither was the spirit to go: and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.And over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of a firmament, like the terrible crystal to look upon, stretched forth over their heads above.And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two which covered on this side, and every one had two which covered on that side, their bodies.And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings.And there was a voice above the firmament that was over their heads: when they stood, they let down their wings.And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.And I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his loins and upward; and from the appearance of his loins and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness round about him.As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

And Micaiah said, Therefore hear ye the word of Jehovah: I saw Jehovah sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.And Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth- gilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree.

See that ye despise not one of these little ones: for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

And Micaiah said, Therefore hear thou the word of Jehovah: I saw Jehovah sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands: The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the sanctuary.

For thy Maker is thy husband; Jehovah of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before Jehovah. And, behold, Jehovah passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before Jehovah; but Jehovah was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but Jehovah was not in the earthquake:

And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Again it came to pass on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, that Satan came also among them to present himself before Jehovah.And Jehovah said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
