You are to tell him: This is what the LORD of Armies says: Here is a man whose name is Branch; he will branch out from his place and build the LORD’s temple.

謂之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、有名萌蘖者、必由其地挺生、將建耶和華之殿、

告之曰、萬有之主耶和華曰、有人將至、長若枝柯、自其境而出、建我耶和華之殿、

告之曰、萬有之主如是云、有人名枝、名枝或作稱為大衛苗裔將由其本處挺然而生、彼將建主之殿、

Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord.

Give Joshua a message from the Lord who rules over all. He says,‘ Here is the man whose name is the Branch. He will branch out and build my temple.

And say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts,“ Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: for he shall branch out from his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord.

Tell him,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Here is the man called the Branch. He will branch out from where he is and build the Temple of the Lord.

Then say to him,‘ The Lord of armies says this:“ Behold, there is a Man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the Lord.

Then speak to him, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying:“ Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the Lord;

and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;

You are to tell him: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Here is a man whose name is Branch; He will branch out from His place and build the Lord’s temple.

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name[ is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

Then say to him,‘ The LORD who rules over all says,“ Look– here is the man whose name is Branch, who will sprout up from his place and build the temple of the LORD.

and speak to him, saying,‘ Yahweh of Armies says,“ Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build Yahweh’s temple;

“ Listen, High Priest Joshua, you and your colleagues sitting before you; indeed, these men are a sign that I am about to bring my servant, the Branch.

On that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of Israel’s survivors.

So he answered me,“ This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by strength or by might, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD of Armies.‘ What are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. And he will bring out the capstone accompanied by shouts of: Grace, grace to it!’”Then the word of the LORD came to me:“ Zerubbabel’s hands have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.

Then a shoot will grow from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit.

“ Look, the days are coming”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ when I will raise up a Righteous Branch for David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.

He grew up before him like a young plant and like a root out of dry ground. He didn’t have an impressive form or majesty that we should look at him, no appearance that we should desire him.

In those days and at that time I will cause a Righteous Branch to sprout up for David, and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land.

For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; therefore, it was necessary for this priest also to have something to offer.

the root your right hand planted, the son that you made strong for yourself.It was cut down and burned; they perish at the rebuke of your countenance.Let your hand be with the man at your right hand, with the son of man you have made strong for yourself.

When the builders had laid the foundation of the LORD’s temple, the priests, dressed in their robes and holding trumpets, and the Levites descended from Asaph, holding cymbals, took their positions to praise the LORD, as King David of Israel had instructed.

He will be their peace. When Assyria invades our land, when it marches against our fortresses, we will raise against it seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.

Jesus answered,“ Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days.”Therefore the Jews said,“ This temple took forty-six years to build, and will you raise it up in three days?”But he was speaking about the temple of his body.

stated,“ This man said,‘ I can destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

Sword, awake against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.

“ We heard him say,‘ I will destroy this temple made with human hands, and in three days I will build another not made by hands.’”

because he has set a day when he is going to judge the world in righteousness by the man he has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Indeed, a king will reign righteously, and rulers will rule justly.Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the rain, like flowing streams in a dry land and the shade of a massive rock in an arid land.

As you come to him, a living stone— rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Now consider how great this man was: even Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth of the plunder to him.

For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

For Jesus is considered worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder has more honor than the house.Now every house is built by someone, but the one who built everything is God.

Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the dawn from on high will visit us

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers and sisters, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you.

But because he remains forever, he holds his priesthood permanently.

When the centurion, who was standing opposite him, saw the way he breathed his last, he said,“ Truly this man was the Son of God!”

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

In the second month of the second year after they arrived at God’s house in Jerusalem, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Jeshua son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brothers, including the priests, the Levites, and all who had returned to Jerusalem from the captivity, began to build. They appointed the Levites who were twenty years old or more to supervise the work on the LORD’s house.

Those who passed by were yelling insults at him, shaking their heads, and saying,“ Ha! The one who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Let your hands be strong, you who now hear these words that the prophets spoke when the foundations were laid for the rebuilding of the temple, the house of the LORD of Armies.

But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.

Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them,“ Here is the man!”
