耶穌基督的僕人保羅、蒙上帝呼召做使徒、為了福音被分別出來的。

若有人傳別的教義，不歸順健全之道、我們主耶穌基督之道、跟那合乎敬虔教義之道，

因為他的神能、因我們認識那憑着自己的榮耀和神德呼召我們的、已將一切關於生命和虔敬的事賜給我們。

那些愚拙而無教育性的辯論、你也要拒絕參加，因為知道這些事能生爭吵；

上帝的恩、給全人類施拯救的、已經顯現，正教督我們棄絕不虔的心和屬世的私慾，在現今世按克己正義和敬虔而生活，

這一切既都要這樣消毁，你們就該做甚麼樣的人，該怎樣以聖別的品行和虔敬

能用柔和矯正對抗的人。或者上帝給他們悔改的心，得以認識真理；

也不要意向着荒唐的傳說和無窮的族譜；這一類的事只能激起空論，無補於上帝在信仰上所作的安排——現在我也這樣勸你。這囑咐的終極乃是愛，從潔淨的心和純善的良知、跟無偽的信心所發生的。

但是我們、蒙主所愛的弟兄啊，我們應該時常為你們感謝上帝，因為上帝從起初就用靈之聖化以及你們信真理的心、選擇了你們來得救。為達這目的、上帝就藉着我們所傳的福音呼召你們來得到我們主耶穌基督的榮耀以為業。

大家公認地、大哉、敬虔之事的奧祕！他顯現於肉身裏，他被斷為得勝於靈裏，他現給天使們看見，他被宣傳於外國中，被信奉於遍世界，被接上於榮耀中。

他願萬人得救、而達到真理之認識。

好叫他們的心得了鼓勵，他們能本着愛心而彼此聯結，可以得到領悟上的確信一切的豐富，能夠認識上帝的奧祕、就是基督本身。

外國人聽了，就歡喜，將榮耀歸於主的道；凡被定得永生的都信了。

基督耶穌的僕人保羅和提摩太、寫信給在腓立比在基督耶穌裏的眾聖徒同諸位監督諸位執事。

但是亞倫和他的子孫卻在燔祭壇和香壇上燻祭燒香，作至聖所一切的工，為以色列人除罪，都照上帝的僕人摩西所吩咐的。

但是你們不信，因為你們不是屬於我這羣的羊。屬我的羊聽我的聲音，我認識他們，他們也跟着我。

你們得了救就是靠着恩、憑着信。這又不是出於你們自己，乃是上帝的禮物：

奉上帝旨意做基督耶穌使徒的保羅、和兄弟提摩太，寫信給在哥林多的上帝教會、同那在全亞該亞的眾聖徒。
