告我曰、愛妃美人、與我偕往、

我必翦滅其軍、若秋未屆、花蕊已結、葡萄未稔、以鐮刪其枝葉、去其藤蔓、

我儕同勞之人勸爾不可徒受上帝恩、上帝曰、納爾之時、吾聽爾、救爾之日、我祐爾、今乃見納之時、得救之日矣、

枝葉蓁蓁、美若橄欖、其氣芬芳、若利巴嫩木、

譬諸土壤萌芽、園囿甲坼、主耶和華必使仁義萌芽、列國頌揚之亦若是。

是吾儕基督使、上帝使我勸爾、吾代基督求爾、與上帝復親、

爾與我來、共往田間、宿於鄉里。詰朝夙興、適葡萄園、觀其萌芽舒蕊、亦觀石榴已茁、在彼享閨房之福。風茄馨香、門以外嘉果實繁、新舊俱備、我已蓄積、供我夫子。

乃設譬曰、有植無花果樹於葡萄園者、至而求果不得、語園丁曰、我三年來、求果弗得、不如斫之、無使曠土、

曰、今猶為爾日、及是時、而知關爾平安之事、則幸、過此、隱於爾目矣、

我欲撫棗樹、而執其枝、爾乳誠若葡萄、垂實纍然、鼻甚芬芳、有如蘋果。

倉廩之中雖無五穀、葡萄樹、無花果、石榴、橄欖、雖未結果、自是以後、我將錫爾以純嘏。

譬諸雨雪、自天降者、不能復歸於上、潤澤土壤、使之萌芽結實、耕者以為種、饑者以為食、我言既出、非徒然也、必成我旨、行我意。

新婦曰、我適榛園、觀谷之果、葡萄萌芽、石榴舒蕊。

當思無花果樹之譬、枝柔葉萌、則知夏近矣、
