彼雖年近百齡、自念其身如死、撒拉絕孕、而其信不衰、

信之即篤、雖近百齡、血氣衰、弗顧也、雖撒拉絕孕、亦弗顧也、

其信甚篤、年近百歲、不顧己身已衰、亦不顧撒拉之胎已絕孕、

故雖明知己之將近百歲、精力枯竭、且明知灑蕾之久已絕孕；然信心未因此而稍衰、

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about a hundred years old) and also the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead( since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead( because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地，笑了起來，心裡說：“一百歲的人，還能生孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生育嗎？”

因著信，甚至撒拉，她雖然過了生育的年齡，還是能夠懷孕，因為她認為那應許她的是信實的。所以從一個好像已死的人，竟然生出許多子孫來，仿佛天上的星那麼眾多，海邊的沙那麼無數。這些人都是存著信心死了的，還沒有得著所應許的，只不過是從遠處看見，就表示歡迎，又承認他們在世上是異鄉人，是客旅。因為說這樣話的人，是表明他們在尋求一個家鄉。如果他們懷念已經離開了的地方，還有可以回去的機會。但是現在他們所嚮往的，是一個更美的、在天上的家鄉。所以，神不以他們稱他為神而覺得羞恥；因為他已經為他們預備了一座城。因著信，亞伯拉罕在受試驗的時候，就把以撒獻上；這就是那歡喜領受應許的人，獻上了自己的獨生子；論到這個兒子，曾經有話說：“以撒生的，才可以稱為你的後裔。”亞伯拉罕認定，神能使人從死人中復活，因此，就喻意說，他的確從死裡得回他的兒子。

耶穌對他說：“‘如果你能’（“如果你能”有些抄本作“你若能信”）—對於信的人，甚麼都能！”孩子的父親立刻喊著說：“我信！但我的信心不夠，求你幫助我。”

田野的草，今天還在，明天就投進爐裡，神尚且這樣妝扮它們；小信的人哪，何況你們呢？

耶穌卻對他們說：“小信的人哪！為甚麼害怕呢？”他就起來斥責風和海，風浪就完全平靜了。

耶穌馬上伸手拉住他，對他說：“小信的人哪，為甚麼疑惑？”

無論是吃肉，是喝酒，或是甚麼使你的弟兄跌倒的事，一律不要作才好。

也沒有因著不信而疑惑神的應許，反倒堅信不移，把榮耀歸給神，滿心相信神所應許的，神必能成就。

當時，亞伯拉罕和撒拉都老了，上了年紀，撒拉的月經也停止了。撒拉心裡暗笑，說：“現在我已經衰老了，我的丈夫也老了，我還有房事的樂趣嗎？”耶和華對亞伯拉罕說：“撒拉為甚麼暗笑說：‘我已經老了，真的還能生育嗎？’耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到明年這個時候，我要回到你這裡來，那時，撒拉必生一個兒子。”

然後對多馬說：“把你的指頭放在這裡，看看我的手吧！伸出你的手來，探探我的肋旁！不要疑惑，只要信！”多馬對他說：“我的主！我的神！”
