Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him,“ So shall your offspring be.”

When there was no reason for hope, Abraham believed because he had hope. He became the father of many nations, exactly as God had promised. God said,“ That is how many children you will have.”( Genesis 15:5)

我们得救时就存着这盼望；但是看得见的盼望不是盼望，因为谁会盼望自己看见了的呢？

盼望是不会令人蒙羞的，因为神藉着所赐给我们的圣灵，把他的爱浇灌在我们的心里。

耶稣还在说话的时候，有人从会堂主管的家里来说：“你的女儿已经死了，何必还劳动老师呢？”耶稣听见所说的话，就对会堂主管说：“不要怕！只要信！”

所以，各位请放心。我相信神对我怎样说，也必怎样成就。

拿俄米说：“我女儿啊，你们回去吧，为什么要跟我去呢？我肚子里还有儿子作你们的丈夫吗？走吧，我女儿啊，你们回去吧，因为我太老，不能嫁人了，就算我说我还有希望今天晚上有个丈夫，又生儿子，你们可以等到他们长大吗？你们可以为他们守节而不嫁人吗？不行，我女儿啊，我为你们非常难过，因为耶和华伸手对付我。”

所盼望的迟延未得，令人心忧；所愿的来到，好比生命树。

如经上所记：“我已经立了你作万国的父。”他所信的，是叫死人得生命、使无变为有的神。

他对我说：“人子啊！这些骸骨就是以色列全家；他们常说：‘我们的骸骨枯干了，我们的盼望消失了；我们都灭亡了。’

撒迦利亚对天使说：“我怎么能知道这事呢？我已经老了，我妻子也上了年纪。”
