其信甚篤、年近百歲、不顧己身已衰、亦不顧撒拉之胎已絕孕、

故雖明知己之將近百歲、精力枯竭、且明知灑蕾之久已絕孕；然信心未因此而稍衰、

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about a hundred years old) and also the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead( since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead( because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

亚伯拉罕就俯伏在地，笑了起来，心里说：“一百岁的人，还能生孩子吗？撒拉已经九十岁了，还能生育吗？”

因着信，甚至撒拉，她虽然过了生育的年龄，还是能够怀孕，因为她认为那应许她的是信实的。所以从一个好像已死的人，竟然生出许多子孙来，仿佛天上的星那么众多，海边的沙那么无数。这些人都是存着信心死了的，还没有得着所应许的，只不过是从远处看见，就表示欢迎，又承认他们在世上是异乡人，是客旅。因为说这样话的人，是表明他们在寻求一个家乡。如果他们怀念已经离开了的地方，还有可以回去的机会。但是现在他们所向往的，是一个更美的、在天上的家乡。所以，神不以他们称他为神而觉得羞耻；因为他已经为他们预备了一座城。因着信，亚伯拉罕在受试验的时候，就把以撒献上；这就是那欢喜领受应许的人，献上了自己的独生子；论到这个儿子，曾经有话说：“以撒生的，才可以称为你的后裔。”亚伯拉罕认定，神能使人从死人中复活，因此，就喻意说，他的确从死里得回他的儿子。

耶稣对他说：“‘如果你能’（“如果你能”有些抄本作“你若能信”）—对于信的人，什么都能！”孩子的父亲立刻喊着说：“我信！但我的信心不够，求你帮助我。”

田野的草，今天还在，明天就投进炉里，神尚且这样妆扮它们；小信的人哪，何况你们呢？

耶稣却对他们说：“小信的人哪！为什么害怕呢？”他就起来斥责风和海，风浪就完全平静了。

耶稣马上伸手拉住他，对他说：“小信的人哪，为什么疑惑？”

无论是吃肉，是喝酒，或是什么使你的弟兄跌倒的事，一律不要作才好。

也没有因着不信而疑惑神的应许，反倒坚信不移，把荣耀归给神，满心相信神所应许的，神必能成就。

当时，亚伯拉罕和撒拉都老了，上了年纪，撒拉的月经也停止了。撒拉心里暗笑，说：“现在我已经衰老了，我的丈夫也老了，我还有房事的乐趣吗？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么暗笑说：‘我已经老了，真的还能生育吗？’耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到明年这个时候，我要回到你这里来，那时，撒拉必生一个儿子。”

然后对多马说：“把你的指头放在这里，看看我的手吧！伸出你的手来，探探我的肋旁！不要疑惑，只要信！”多马对他说：“我的主！我的神！”
