我又看見死去的人，無論尊貴卑微，都站在那寶座前。書卷都打開了；另有一個書卷也打開了，這就是生命冊。死去的人都憑著書卷中所記的，照著他們的行為受審判。

吾又見已亡者、無大無小、肅立座前、案卷悉展、另有一卷亦展、即生命冊也。亡者皆各按其卷中所載之行實而處分焉。

因為我們大家都必須站在基督的審判臺前，好使每個人都為自己藉著身體所做的，或善或惡，領受回報。

人子將要在他父的榮耀中，與他的天使們一起來臨。那時候，他要按照各人的所作所為回報每個人。

從他面前有一條火河湧流而出；事奉他的有千千，侍立在他面前的有萬萬；庭審已經開始，書卷都打開了。

我要用瘟疫擊殺她的兒女，這樣各教會就將知道我就是洞察情感和心思的那一位；我也要照著你們的行為回報你們每個人。

要知道，人所做的每一件事，包括一切隱藏的事，無論是善是惡，神都必審判。

那得勝的，將要同樣穿上白衣，我絕不從生命冊上抹去他的名字；而且我將要在我父面前、在我父的眾天使面前，承認他的名字。

至於你，為什麼評斷你的弟兄呢？又為什麼藐視你的弟兄呢？要知道，我們都要站在神的審判臺前，因為經上記著：「主說：我指著我的永生起誓，萬膝將向我跪下，萬口將承認神。」由此可見，我們每個人都要把自己的事向神做出交代。

列國發怒了，可是你的震怒臨到了，你審判死人的時候到了，你向你的奴僕先知們、聖徒們、敬畏你名的人，無論卑微尊貴，賜報償的時候到了，你毀滅那些敗壞大地之人的時候也到了。」

「看哪，我快要來了！我帶著報償，要按照各人的行為回報每個人。

於是，海洋交出了其中的死人，死亡和陰間也交出了其中的死人；每個人都照著自己的行為受審判。

「末後的時期，守護你子民的偉大護衛天使米迦勒必站出來；並且會有一段患難的時期，自從有國家以來直到那時候未曾有過；末後的時期，你的子民中凡是被記在那冊子上的，都必得救。睡在塵土中的眾人必醒來：有的得永遠的生命，有的蒙受羞辱，永遠被憎惡。

住在地上的人，凡是名字從創世以來沒有記在那被殺羔羊的生命冊上的，都將膜拜牠。

凡是不潔淨的，行可憎和虛假之事的人，絕不能進到城內；唯有名字被記在羔羊生命冊上的才能進去。

主啊，慈愛也在於你，因為你照著各人所做的回報他。

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。

求你照著他們的作為，照著他們所行的邪惡對待他們；求你照著他們手所做的對待他們，把他們應得的報應加給他們！

隨後，有聲音從寶座上傳來，說：「神所有的奴僕們哪，所有敬畏他的，無論卑微尊貴，你們要讚美我們的神！」

因為死亡既然是由一個人而來，死人的復活也是由一個人而來。原來，就像在亞當裡所有的人都死了，照樣，在基督裡所有的人也都將得以復活，不過每個人要按著自己的次序：初熟的果子是基督；然後他來臨的時候，是那些屬於基督的人；

神將照著各人的行為回報各人：

願他們從生命冊上被抹掉，不要讓他們與義人一同被記錄。

是的，我真誠的同伴哪！我也請求你幫助她們兩位。她們在福音工作上曾經與我、克萊門斯，和我的其他同工們一起奮戰，這些人的名字都在生命冊上。

的確，我們現在照著主的話告訴你們這一點：我們這些活著存留到主來臨的人，絕不會在那些已經睡了的人之先，因為在發令的呼喊聲中，在天使長的聲音和神的號角聲中，主要親自從天降臨，而且那些在基督裡死去的人要先復活，然後我們這些還活著存留的人，要與他們一同被提到雲裡，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要永遠與主在一起了。

耶穌對她說：「我就是復活，我就是生命。信我的人，即使死了，也將要活。所有活著而信我的人絕不會死，直到永遠。你信這話嗎？」

你所看見的那獸，先前在而現今不在，並將要從無底坑裡上來，然後走向滅亡。住在地上的人，凡是名字從創世以來沒有被記在生命冊上的，看見那先前在而現今不在，並將要出現的獸時，都會感到驚奇。

如果你說：「看哪，我不知道這事！」難道衡量人心的那一位不了解嗎？難道守護你靈魂的那一位不知道嗎？難道他不照著各人所做的回報各人嗎？

但不要因為邪靈服從了你們就歡喜，要因為你們的名字已經被記錄在天上而歡喜。」

你們不要為此感到驚奇：時候就要到了！那時所有在墳墓裡的人，都會聽到他的聲音，並且要出來——行善的人復活得生命，作惡的人復活被定罪。

我對神所懷有的盼望也是這些人自己所期望的，就是義人和不義的人將來都要復活。

所以時候沒有到，在主來臨之前，不要評斷任何事；主將照亮黑暗中隱祕的事，顯明人心裡的計劃。那時候，稱讚將從神那裡臨到各人。

不可說：「人怎樣對待我，我也怎樣對待他；我要照著他所做的報復他。」
