接著，我看見一個新天新地，因為先前的天和先前的地都已經過去了，海也不再存在了。

這樣，鐵、泥、銅、銀、金都一同被砸得粉碎了，就像夏天打穀場上的糠秕，被風吹散，無蹤跡可尋；但砸這像的石頭卻變成一座大山，充滿全地。

不過，主的日子要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣。在那日，諸天要轟然一聲地消逝，天體將被火焚燒而廢除，地和地上的作為也都將被暴露出來。既然這一切都要如此被廢除，那麼，你們應該做什麼樣的人呢？應該行為聖潔、敬畏神，等候並催促神的日子來臨。因為在那日，諸天將被焚燒而廢除，天體要被火焚燒而熔化。

可是你照著頑固和不悔改的心，為那震怒的日子，就是神公義審判顯現的日子，給自己積蓄了震怒。

但現在的天和地，藉著他的話語得以存留，一直留到不敬神的人受審判和滅亡的日子，被火焚燒。

「當人子在他的榮耀中，與所有的天使一起來臨的時候，他那時就要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

天和地將要消逝，但是我的話絕不會消逝。

天被劈裂，好像書卷被捲起來；一切山嶺和海島也都從原處被挪開了。

他抓住了龍——那古蛇，就是魔鬼撒旦，把牠捆綁了一千年。

可是龍不能得勝，天上再也沒有牠們的地方了。

「雖然神並不鑒察那愚昧無知的時代，但如今卻吩咐各處所有的人都要悔改，因為他已經確立了日子，將要藉著他所設定的一個人，以公義來審判天下的人，並且藉著使他從死人中復活，給萬人帶來了確據。」

所有的海島都逃避了，山嶺也不見了。

我立刻就在靈裡了，看哪，有一個寶座安放在天上，有一位坐在寶座上。

公義和公正是你寶座的根基，慈愛和信實行在你面前。

你們惡人使困苦人的籌算蒙羞，但耶和華是他的避難所。但願以色列的救恩來自錫安！耶和華使他被擄的子民回歸的時候，願雅各快樂，願以色列歡喜！

你絕不會做這樣的事：把義人與惡人一同殺死，讓義人像惡人一樣！你絕不會！難道全地的審判者不施行公正嗎？」

密雲和幽暗在他的四圍，公義和公正是他寶座的根基。

耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，他早已為審判設立了寶座。是他以公義審判世界，以正直審斷萬民。

神在列國之上作王，在他聖潔的寶座上坐著為王。

接著，我看見天開了，看哪，有一匹白馬。騎馬的那一位被稱為「信實的」和「真實的」；他以公義去審判、去作戰。
