故一日間、諸災並臻、即死亡悲哀饑荒、盡焚以火、蓋鞫之之主上帝、乃有能者也、

故頃刻間、災害數至、即饑饉、痛哭、死亡、火爇、蓋鞫之之上帝、乃大能之主、

故一日之間、其災齊至、即死亡哀哭饑饉、亦被火焚、蓋審判之主天主、其能至大、

詎料一旦眾災咸臨、死喪、憂戚、飢饉、紛至沓來、終至付諸一炬；蓋黜陟之主、乃全能之主宰也。

Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.

But she will be plagued by death, sadness and hunger. In a single day she will suffer all these plagues. She will be burned up by fire. That’s because the Lord God who judges her is mighty.

For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

Therefore, these plagues will overtake her in a single day— death and mourning and famine. She will be completely consumed by fire, for the Lord God who judges her is mighty.”

For this reason in one day her plagues will come, plague and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for the Lord God who judges her is strong.

Therefore her plagues will come in one day— death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

Therefore in one day shall her plagues come, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judged her.

For this reason her plagues will come in one day— death and grief and famine. She will be burned up with fire, because the Lord God who judges her is mighty.

那贖回他們的、大有能力；萬軍之永恆主耶和華是他的名；他必徹底為他們的案件而伸訴，好使大地平靜下來，而巴比倫的居民惶惶不安。

『主萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：「傲慢」哪，你看，我跟你為敵呢！因為你的日子、我察罰你的時候、到了。

地上的君王、素來同她行淫、荒淫無度的、看見她被焚燒的煙，就必為她哭泣捶胸。因怕她的苦痛、都必在遠處站着說：『有禍啊！有禍啊！大城巴比倫！大有勢力的城啊，一時之間你受判罰的時候到了！』

你所看見的十個角和那獸必恨這淫婦、使她荒涼赤身，必喫她的肉，用火燒掉了她。

他們把塵土撒在頭上，哭泣哀慟喊着說：『有禍啊！有禍啊！那大城！那城裏頭凡有船在海中的、由她的珍寶而得財富的、有禍啊！一時之間她已變為荒涼了！

一時之間這麼大的財富已變為荒涼了！』每一個船長、每一個航行往別處去的和水手們、以及凡作海業的、都在遠處站着，

『你們要從巴比倫中間逃跑，各人各自逃命！不要消滅死寂於她的罪罰中，因為這是永恆主報復的時候，是他向巴比倫施的報應。

或是說我們在激動主的妒愛啊？難道我們比他還強壯麼？

『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：巴比倫寬闊的城牆必毁為平地，她高拱的城門必被火燒。外族之民所勞碌的都必落空，列國之民都必為了被火燒而疲乏。』

你所看見的婦人就是那大城、那有國權管轄地上列王的。』

說：『今在昔在的主上帝，全能者啊，我們感謝你；因為你已執掌你的大權能而作王了。

哪知喪子寡居這兩件事、一眨眼之際、一日之間就臨到你了！正在你多行邪術、極力施符咒時，這兩件事就完完全全臨到你身上了！你倚靠你自己的壞行為，說：『沒有人看見我』；嘿，你的聰明你的知識把你拉走了！你心裏說：『我，我以外再沒有別的』。但災難終久必臨到你，你不知怎樣用魔法去驅除它；禍患終久必落在你身上，你不能禳除它；毁滅終久必臨到你，就在突然之間，不知不覺之時。

上帝說了一件事，我聽到的有兩件：就是：能力屬於上帝；

當那日子、永恆主必用他剛硬巨大有力的刀來察罰飛奔蛇鱷魚，察罰曲行蛇鱷魚，並殺那在海中的大獸。

他們又說了第二次：『哈利路亞！燒她的煙直往上冒，世世代代、永不停息！』

若論能力，他強大呀；若論審判權，他說：「誰能定期傳喚我呢？」
