蓋天主感彼眾之心、以成厥旨、使彼眾同心、將己之國給獸、以待天主之言應焉、

For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled.

我告爾、經載云、人視之為罪犯中者、其言必應於我、蓋經所載指我之言必成也、

十二門徒之一猶大稱以斯加畧者、撒但入其心、

我與之必立永約、不復棄之、施以恩惠、使彼存敬畏我之心、不復背逆我、

人見誘、原文作被試下同勿言我為天主所誘、蓋天主不為惡所誘、亦不誘人、人而見誘、俱為己慾所引所惑、慾孕生惡、惡成生死、所愛之兄弟、勿差謬、凡美善之恩施、全備之賞賚、皆自上出、由光明之父而降、彼永無變易、無遷移之影、

彼眾不能信、因以賽亞復云、主使其目瞽心頑、免其目明心悟、悔改而我醫之、

我自始而示終、在昔時預言未成之事、我言我之謀必立、凡我所悅者、我必成之、召彼鷙鳥、至自東土、召我所命定之人、來自遠方、我言既出必成之、我謀既定必行之、

以斯拉曰、當頌美主我列祖之天主、因感格王心、增榮耀於耶路撒冷之主殿、

我別見異象在天、大且奇、即七天使握末時之七災、以盡天主之怒、

希律本丟彼拉多、異邦人、以色列民、果集以攻爾所膏之聖子耶穌、以成爾權爾旨預定之事、

歌革歟、爾必至、攻擊我民以色列、勢若雲之覆地、末日必有斯事、我任爾來攻擊我地、是時我懲罰爾、以顯我聖、異邦人無不目睹、使彼俱識我、主天主如是云、越在昔日、多年之前、我僕以色列之諸先知言未來事、我曾藉彼而言、將來我必任敵來攻以色列人、所言非爾乎、

我言此、非指爾曹諸人、我所選者我知之、此為應經所載云、與我同食者、舉踵踶我、

我謝天主、因感提多之心、使其為爾曹如是殷勤、

兵卒相語曰、毋裂之、可為之鬮、以觀誰得、是為應經所載云、彼分我外服、為我裏衣而鬮、兵卒所為者果如是也、

今我以此諸國、賜我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、亦以田野之百獸賜之、為其使役、列國之民必服事之、延及子孫、迨滅其國之時已屆、則眾多之邦國、強大之君王、必勒令巴比倫王服事、
