Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed[ is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

主曰、我必襲爾、如盜猝至、當儆醒守厥衣服、以免裸裎、庶無愧怍、得蒙福祉、

主曰、我來、如盜猝至、凡警醒守衣、免其裸身現醜者有福、

我來有如不速之客。人能恆自警惕、守其所服、毋使赤身露體、自彰其醜、斯為有福。

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and[ that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.[ For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Therefore let us not sleep, as[ do] others; but let us watch and be sober.

Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly[ is] ready, but the flesh[ is] weak.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet[ thee as] a man.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Blessed[ are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find[ them] so, blessed are those servants.And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom[ his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give[ them their] portion of meat in due season?Blessed[ is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

And when Moses saw that the people[ were] naked;( for Aaron had made them naked unto[ their] shame among their enemies:)

Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to[ him], and makest[ him] drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!

Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.

Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all[ them] that thou hast loved, with all[ them] that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
