And[ the LORD] said, Thou shalt entice[ him], and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do[ even] so.Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.

And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade[ him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so.Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness[ is] great.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD[ is] near in the valley of decision.

If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

For such[ are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.Therefore[ it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous[ are] thy judgments.

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.For the indignation of the LORD[ is] upon all nations, and[ his] fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling[ fig] from the fig tree.For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness,[ and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.For[ it is] the day of the LORD’S vengeance,[ and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

[ Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

Who[ is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this[ that is] glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.Wherefore[ art thou] red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people[ there was] none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.For the day of vengeance[ is] in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.And I looked, and[ there was] none to help; and I wondered that[ there was] none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver[ it] into the hand of the king.

After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land[ that is] brought back from the sword,[ and is] gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass,[ that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places[ that are now] inhabited, and upon the people[ that are] gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
