邪神、即鬼魔之靈、能作祟、附於全世諸王、使於全能天主全盛之日、集中全力、而作最後之掙扎。主不云乎：

此乃鬼魔之神、能行異跡、往就普天下諸王、使其在全能天主之大日集戰、

而以呂馬（譯言巫者）仇之、欲阻方伯信道。掃羅者葆樂也、充乎聖神、注目視之曰：『詭譎奸惡、備爾一身、魔鬼之子、百善之仇、混淆主之正道、伊于胡底！

爾父非他、魔鬼是已！爾父之志、爾則承之。彼自始即為殺人之元兇、未曾須臾立足於真理之中、以彼心中不存真理故。惟誑語乃出其本性；彼為誑者、亦為誑者父。

爾既守吾寬忍之道、吾亦當於全世之人遭受試練時、保爾於難。

乃見上述之獸、及世上諸王、率兵而集、欲與騎白馬者及其所率之軍作戰；獸及偽先知同被擒。偽先知者、即當日行異蹟於獸前以熒惑受獸印拜獸像之群眾者也。二者俱被執而生投於硫火池中。

蓋偽基督假先知、將起而大施異跡奇事；倘可能者、並蒙選之人、亦將被惑矣。

若輩偽宗徒冒基督宗徒之名、而行其欺詐之實。然此不足為奇；即沙殫亦嘗冒充光明之天神、則其僕之冒充正義之僕、不亦宜乎！惟若輩必依其所作之孽、而受報應也。

而諸魔竟屯聚列王於一地、地名希伯來文曰哈爾瑪日東云。

蓋有偽基督偽先知者出、多顯怪異、駸駸乎將熒惑選民！

此獸多行奇跡、能於眾人之前、令火自空中而降。世人以其有權暢行異蹟於海獸之前、多受其熒惑。彼乃慫慂世人、為受傷獲瘳之獸製像、

吾見其一首似已中傷瀕死、後竟醫治獲愈；普世奇之、翕然風從。人見龍之以權授獸、

蓋其譴怒之日已臨、其誰能當之。」

又聞祭壇發言曰：「誠哉言也！主天主、全能者乎、爾之睿斷、既明且公。」

惟大憝之暴興也、亦必恃沙殫之魔力、恣權行異、

維時、羅馬皇奧古斯多詔天下人民咸登版籍；
