Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs. They came out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet.

And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs.

And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.

Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming from the dragon’s mouth, from the beast’s mouth, and from the mouth of the false prophet.

And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming from the dragon’s mouth, from the beast’s mouth, and from the mouth of the false prophet.

I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;

獸及偽先知同被擒。偽先知者、即當日行異蹟於獸前以熒惑受獸印拜獸像之群眾者也。二者俱被執而生投於硫火池中。

於是惑眾之妖魔乃被投入硫火池中、與獸及偽先知朝暮受刑、永世靡已。

雖然、依聖神之明示、後來必有叛道棄信者焉。若輩惑於邪神、溺於魔道、輕信天良銷鑠、言行詐偽之人、禁止嫁娶、戒絕某種食物；夫食物乃天主所造也、亦在具有信德、而身體真道者、感恩受之而已矣。

邪神、即鬼魔之靈、能作祟、附於全世諸王、使於全能天主全盛之日、集中全力、而作最後之掙扎。主不云乎：

大聲而呼曰：傾矣乎！傾矣乎！巍巍巴比倫！昔為大都邑、今成魑魅村；邪神聚幽藪、惡鳥集荒榛。

望我愛友、勿泛信一切靈感、應細心察驗其靈感之是否淵源天主。蓋偽先知已蠭起於世矣。然則爾將何以辨識天主之聖神乎？曰：凡承認耶穌基督確曾降世為人者、皆受天主之靈感者也。凡否認耶穌者、悉非感於天主、而感於反基督者也。夫反基督之將臨也、爾等夙已聞之、今則已在人間矣。

爾時吾見一獸自海中出、十角七首、上有十冕、首上僭號無數。此獸望之若豹、其足若熊、其口若獅；龍以己之權位威力授之。吾見其一首似已中傷瀕死、後竟醫治獲愈；普世奇之、翕然風從。人見龍之以權授獸、故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」獸且賦有口才、大言不慚、荒謬絕倫；秉權作孽四十有二月。開口謗讟天主、褻瀆聖名與閟帷、侮慢天上諸神諸聖。又受權與諸聖相戰而勝之、統治各族、各民、萬邦、重譯。舉世之人、

然吾兒當知季世必有危時、人將逞其私欲、孳孳為利、驕矜自慢輕薄褻瀆、不孝父母、忘恩負義、不虔不敬、天良泯滅、結怨不解、譖人不輟、沉湎無度、兇暴不馴、疾善如讎、叛逆無信、剛愎自用、桀傲成性、不愛天主、惟愛荒逸、外飾虔誠之貌內實麻木不仁。此類之人、務望吾兒避之若浼。蓋若輩夤緣勾結、入人之家、引誘意志薄弱之婦人、使其棄正入邪、罪累重重、

又有一兆、顯見於天：有巨龍、赤色、七首十角、冠七冕、尾曳天星三分之一、投之於地。龍伏產婦前、俟其分娩、以吞其子。

無何、又見一獸出自地下、有二角如羊、而出言如龍；於海獸之前、操其大權、驅策全世居民、朝拜曩日受傷獲瘳之前獸。此獸多行奇跡、能於眾人之前、令火自空中而降。世人以其有權暢行異蹟於海獸之前、多受其熒惑。彼乃慫慂世人、為受傷獲瘳之獸製像、復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。又令人民無貴賤貧富主僕、悉受印誌、或在右手或在額上。凡未印有獸名、或獸名之數者、均不得從事貿易。此中有真訣在焉：有知者、可一推算此獸之數、其數乃人之數、即六百六十有六也。

然適如昔日之有偽先知起自民間、將來爾中亦必有荒誕之師、潛播異端、陷溺人心、乃至忘恩負義、否認其贖身之主、於以自速其亡。且必有多人與之推波助瀾、同流合污、以致真諦妙道、因斯輩之故、為世詬病。斯輩貪污成性、巧言如簧、以爾等為營利之具。若而人者、罪案夙定。天網恢恢、固無所逃於天地間也。

於是巨龍下墜；巨龍者、即古時、之蛇、名曰妖魔、沙殫、熒惑全世者是；彼與其天神、俱被逐至地。至是吾聞大音自天而發曰：「彼日夜不輟、訟我兄弟於天主前者、已被貶逐。天主救恩權威與統治之完成、及其基督之秉鈞、其時已屆。諸兄弟賴羔羊之血、毅然為聖道作證、舍命不渝、從容就死；故能克服頑敵、終獲致勝。諸天乎、在天之眾聖乎、可以懽忻而鼓舞矣！龍既見已被逐於地、乃追逐向舉一男之婦。

蛙成群。侵宮室。

惟大憝之暴興也、亦必恃沙殫之魔力、恣權行異、以種種邪法、熒惑自求淪喪之徒。所謂自求淪喪之徒者、即不知愛慕真理、以望得救者耳。既不愛慕真理、天主亦祇得聽其從妄信謊、

蒼蠅成群。蝦蟇充斥。
