It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High,

Lord, it is good to praise you. Most High God, it is good to make music to honor you.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High;

Praise ye the LORD: for[ it is] good to sing praises unto our God; for[ it is] pleasant;[ and] praise is comely.

Oh that[ men] would praise the LORD[ for] his goodness, and[ for] his wonderful works to the children of men!And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion[ is] an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom[ is] from generation to generation:And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works[ are] truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name[ is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy[ place], with him also[ that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

But thou, LORD,[ art most] high for evermore.

O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth[ his] conversation[ aright] will I shew the salvation of God.

Oh that[ men] would praise the LORD[ for] his goodness, and[ for] his wonderful works to the children of men!

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous:[ for] praise is comely for the upright.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for[ it is] good.

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath,[ from] doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking[ thine own] words:Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken[ it].

Oh that[ men] would praise the LORD[ for] his goodness, and[ for] his wonderful works to the children of men!

I have said, Ye[ are] gods; and all of you[ are] children of the most High.

I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done[ it]: and I will wait on thy name; for[ it is] good before thy saints.

And the four beasts had each of them six wings about[ him]; and[ they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of[ our] lips giving thanks to his name.

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,Heaven[ is] my throne, and earth[ is] my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what[ is] the place of my rest?

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
