You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance.

He rained manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven.People ate the bread of angels. He sent them an abundant supply of food.He made the east wind blow in the skies and drove the south wind by His might.He rained meat on them like dust, and winged birds like the sand of the seas.

I will provide rain for your land in the proper time, the autumn and spring rains, and you will harvest your grain, new wine, and oil.

I will make them and the area around My hill a blessing: I will send down showers in their season— showers of blessing.

You visit the earth and water it abundantly, enriching it greatly. God’s stream is filled with water, for You prepare the earth in this way, providing people with grain.You soften it with showers and bless its growth, soaking its furrows and leveling its ridges.You crown the year with Your goodness; Your ways overflow with plenty.The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy.The pastures are clothed with flocks and the valleys covered with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.

For the land you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated by hand as in a vegetable garden.But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.It is a land the Lord your God cares for. He is always watching over it from the beginning to the end of the year.
