On the third day, when morning came, there was thunder and lightning, a thick cloud on the mountain, and a loud trumpet sound, so that all the people in the camp shuddered.

Lord, when You came from Seir, when You marched from the fields of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens poured rain, and the clouds poured water.The mountains melted before the Lord, even Sinai before the Lord, the God of Israel.

All of you approached me with your tribal leaders and elders when you heard the voice from the darkness and while the mountain was blazing with fire.You said,‘ Look, the Lord our God has shown us His glory and greatness, and we have heard His voice from the fire. Today we have seen that God speaks with a person, yet he still lives.But now, why should we die? This great fire will consume us and we will die if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any longer.

The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; lightning lit up the world. The earth shook and quaked.

When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains quaked at Your presence.

I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches from secret places, so that you may know that I, Yahweh, the God of Israel call you by your name.

God, You are awe-inspiring in Your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives power and strength to His people. May God be praised!

God’s sanctuary in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His sanctuary. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings of thunder, an earthquake, and severe hail.

If only You would tear the heavens open and come down, so that mountains would quake at Your presence—

You come out to save Your people, to save Your anointed. You crush the leader of the house of the wicked and strip him from foot to neck. Selah
