God’s Care for the Earth

1Praise is rightfully Yours, Or Praise is silence to You, or Praise awaits You
God, in Zion;
vows to You will be fulfilled. Ps 50:14; 116:18
2All humanity will come to You,
the One who hears prayer. Ps 86:9; Is 2:2-4; 66:23
3Iniquities overwhelm me;
only You can atone for Or can forgive, or can wipe out our rebellions. Ps 38:14; 40:12; 79:9
4How happy is the one You choose
and bring near to live in Your courts!
We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
the holiness of Your temple. Or house, Your holy temple Ps 27:4; 84:4
5You answer us in righteousness,
with awe-inspiring works,
God of our salvation,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the distant seas. Dt 10:21; 2Sm 7:23; Ps 46:8

7You silence the roar of the seas,
the roar of their waves,

8Those who live far away are awed by Your signs;

9You visit the earth and water it abundantly,
enriching it greatly.
God’s stream is filled with water,
for You prepare the earth Lit prepare it in this way,

10You soften it with showers and bless its growth,

11You crown the year with Your goodness;

12The wilderness pastures overflow,
