You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.

對那些今世富有的人，你當吩咐他們不可高傲自大，也不可把盼望寄託在靠不住的財富上，而要寄託在神身上，神把萬物豐豐富富地賜給我們享受。你要吩咐他們常行美善，在美好行為上富足，慷慨施捨，樂意分享；

其實神並不是沒有為自己留下證據，因為他常行美善：從天上賜給你們雨水和豐收的季節，使你們食物充足，滿心喜樂。」

他使你境內平安，用最好的麥子使你飽足。

他用烏雲遮蓋天空，為大地預備雨水，使群山長出青草。他賜糧食給走獸，也給啼叫的烏鴉幼雛。

你以恩惠為年歲的冠冕，你的路徑都滴下脂油，

以撒在那地耕種，那一年收穫百倍；耶和華祝福了他，

她和她的兒媳們起身，從摩押地回去；因為她在摩押地聽說了耶和華眷顧自己的子民，賜糧食給他們。
