Seeing that thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee?

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语丢在背后。

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语抛在脑后。

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语抛在脑后。

你憎恶我的管教，把我的话抛在脑后。

至于你，你憎恨管教，并且把我的话丢在背后。

实际上，你恨恶管教，把我的话语丢在身后。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語丟在背後。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語拋在腦後。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語拋在腦後。

你憎惡我的管教，把我的話拋在腦後。

至於你，你憎恨管教，並且把我的話丟在背後。

你啊、你恨惡管教，卻將我的話丟在背後。

實際上，你恨惡管教，把我的話語丟在身後。

實則厭我訓誨、委我言於後兮、

惡訓言而不守、棄我道其如遺兮、

其實爾厭惡我之訓誨、將我之言語、棄置於後、

吾言如充耳。不復懷大法。

You hate my instruction and cast my words behind you.

You hate my teaching. You turn your back on what I say.

For you hate discipline, and you cast my words behind you.

For you refuse my discipline and treat my words like trash.

You hate instruction and fling my words behind you.

For you yourself hate discipline, And you throw My words behind you.

Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?

You hate instruction and turn your back on My words.

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

For you hate instruction and reject my words.

since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?

Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their back, and slew thy prophets that testified against them to turn them again unto thee, and they wrought great provocations.

Whoso loveth correction loveth knowledge; But he that hateth reproof is brutish.

and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

thou therefore that teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou rob temples?thou who gloriest in the law, through thy transgression of the law dishonorest thou God?

Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me:For that they hated knowledge, And did not choose the fear of Jehovah,

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved.

but hast done evil above all that were before thee, and hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

But they say, It is in vain; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will do every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart.

The wise men are put to shame, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of Jehovah; and what manner of wisdom is in them?

But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: All they that hate me love death.

that justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

And say, How have I hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof;Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

And it came to pass, when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, that the king cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was in the brazier, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was in the brazier.And they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.Moreover Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll; but he would not hear them.And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king’s son, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet; but Jehovah hid them.Then the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah thou shalt say, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David; and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them, but they hearkened not.Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and there were added besides unto them many like words.
