因主之公斷、郇山可歡欣、猶大城邑、城邑原文作諸女咸可喜樂、

願將爾聖名。傳之於八極。聖名之所至。頌聲亦洋溢。主之大手臂。舉措皆正直。

Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.

Mount Zion is filled with joy. The villages of Judah are glad. That’s because you judge fairly.

Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments!

Let the people on Mount Zion rejoice. Let all the towns of Judah be glad because of your justice.

Mount Zion is glad. Judah’s villages rejoice because of your judgments.

Mount Zion shall be glad, The daughters of Judah shall rejoice Because of Your judgments.

Zion hears and rejoices, the towns of Judah are happy, because of your judgments, O LORD.

I adjure you, O maidens of Jerusalem, by the gazelles and by the young does of the open fields: Do not awaken or arouse love until it pleases!

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey– on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.

( Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has pronounced judgment against her on your behalf!)

this is what the LORD says about him:“ The virgin daughter Zion despises you– she makes fun of you; daughter Jerusalem shakes her head after you.

O daughter Babylon, soon to be devastated! How blessed will be the one who repays you for what you dished out to us!How blessed will be the one who grabs your babies and smashes them on a rock!

Now I heard the angel of the waters saying:“ You are just– the one who is and who was, the Holy One– because you have passed these judgments,because they poured out the blood of your saints and prophets, so you have given them blood to drink. They got what they deserved!”Then I heard the altar reply,“ Yes, Lord God, the All- Powerful, your judgments are true and just!”

His mouth is very sweet; he is totally desirable. This is my beloved! This is my companion, O maidens of Jerusalem!

I am dark but lovely, O maidens of Jerusalem, dark like the tents of Qedar, lovely like the tent curtains of Salmah.

I admonish you, O maidens of Jerusalem, by the gazelles and by the young does of the open fields:“ Do not awake or arouse love until it pleases!”

But Jesus turned to them and said,“ Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

The godly will rejoice when they see vengeance carried out; they will bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.

May all your enemies perish like this, O LORD! But may those who love you shine like the rising sun at its brightest!” And the land had rest for forty years.

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name, because you alone are holy? All nations will come and worship before you for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, where they praised the LORD. So that place is called the Valley of Berachah to this very day.Then all the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned joyfully to Jerusalem with Jehoshaphat leading them; the LORD had given them reason to rejoice over their enemies.

After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,because his judgments are true and just. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his servants poured out by her own hands!”Then a second time the crowd shouted,“ Hallelujah!” The smoke rises from her forever and ever.
