可是他醒悟过来的时候，就说：‘我父亲那么多的雇工都食物充足，我却要在这里饿死吗？我要起来，到我父亲那里去，对他说：‘父亲，我对天犯了罪，也在你面前犯了罪。我再也不配称为你的儿子，请把我当做你的一个雇工吧。’于是他起来往自己的父亲那里去。他离得还远的时候，他父亲就看到他，动了怜悯之心，跑上去搂住他的脖子亲吻他。儿子说：‘父亲，我对天犯了罪，也在你面前犯了罪。我再也不配称为你的儿子。’“父亲却对奴仆们说：‘赶快把那最好的袍子拿来给他穿上，把戒指戴在他手上，把鞋子穿在他脚上，把那只养肥的牛犊牵来宰杀了，让我们吃喝、庆祝吧！

如果我们说自己没有罪，我们就是在欺骗自己，真理就不在我们里面了；如果我们承认自己的罪孽，神是信实的、公义的，他就会赦免我们的罪孽，洁净我们脱离一切的不义。如果我们说自己没有犯罪，我们就是把神当做说谎者，他的话语就不在我们里面了。

他赦免你一切的罪孽，使你一切的疾病痊愈；

因为他的怒气只是一瞬间，他的恩典却是一生之久；夜间虽有不停的哭泣，清晨必有欢呼。

故此，我告诉你：她的罪孽被赦免得多，所以她爱得多；而那被赦免少的，就爱得少。”

主啊，你是美善的，赦免人的；对所有呼求你的人，你有丰盛的慈爱！

东离西有多么远，他使我们的过犯离我们也多么远；

耶稣对他们说：“你们就是那些在人面前显示自己为义的，但是神知道你们的心。人看为高贵的，在神面前却是可憎恶的。

但主啊，你是有怜悯、有恩惠的神！你不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和信实。

淫妇的行径是这样的：她吃完，把自己的嘴一擦，就说：“我没有做坏事。”

难道人会抢夺神吗？你们却抢夺我！你们竟然问：‘我们是怎么抢夺你的呢？’你们是在当纳的十分之一和当献的供物上抢夺我的。
