因窮苦人受難之時、主未嘗藐視、未嘗厭棄、未嘗向其掩面、其呼籲時、主曾俯聽、

願凡虔敬之人兮。播揚仁風。願雅谷之苗裔兮。聖道是弘。願義塞之子孫兮。惟主是崇。

For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.

He has not forgotten the one who is hurting. He has not turned away from his suffering. He has not turned his face away from him. He has listened to his cry for help.

基督在世的時候，曾經流淚大聲禱告懇求那位能救他脫離死亡的神；因著他的敬虔，就蒙了應允。

我把我的背給打我的人打，把我的腮頰給拔我鬍鬚的人拔；我並沒有掩面躲避人的羞辱和人的唾液。但主耶和華必幫助我，所以我必不羞愧，因此我板著臉好像堅硬的燧石，我也知道我必不會蒙羞。那稱我為義的，與我相近；誰與我爭訟呢？讓我們一同站起來吧！誰是指控我的？讓他就近我來。看哪！主耶和華幫助我，誰能定我有罪呢？看哪！他們都要像衣服漸漸破舊，蛀蟲必把他們吃光。

我在急難中求告耶和華，他就應允我，使我站在寬闊之地。

死亡的繩索纏繞著我，陰間的痛苦抓住我；我遭遇患難和愁苦。那時，我呼求耶和華的名，說：“耶和華啊！求你拯救我。”耶和華有恩典，有公義，我們的神滿有憐憫。耶和華保護愚蒙人，我落到卑微的地步，他拯救了我。

我的神啊！我日間呼求，你不應允；在晚上我還是不停止。

至於我，我是憂傷痛苦的人；神啊！願你的救恩保護我。我要用詩歌讚美神的名，以感謝尊他為大。這就使耶和華喜悅，勝過獻牛，或是獻有角有蹄的公牛。困苦的人看見了就喜樂；尋求神的人哪！願你們的心甦醒。因為耶和華垂聽了貧窮人的禱告，也不藐視屬他自己、正被囚禁的人。願天和地都讚美他，願海洋和海中一切生物都讚美他。

但我是蟲，不是人，是世上所羞辱的，也是眾人所藐視的。

我這困苦人呼求，耶和華就垂聽，拯救我脫離一切患難。

耶穌大聲呼叫：“父啊，我把我的靈魂交在你手裡。”說了這話，氣就斷了。

我全身的骨頭都要說：“耶和華啊！有誰像你呢？你搭救困苦的人，脫離那些比他強盛的；搭救困苦和窮乏的人，脫離那些搶奪他的。”

求你不要向你的僕人掩面；求你快快應允我，因為我在困境之中。
