As when one plows and breaks up the soil, so our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

石頭怎樣破裂或裂開於地上的，他們的骨頭也必怎樣被擊散於陰間口。

他們說：「我們的骨頭散落在陰間口，就像人耕作翻地時的土塊。」

我之骸骨、散於墓側、若人耕田、所起之塊兮、

然彼仍害我儕、骸骨散於墓側、譬諸土壤、為人開墾兮、

我骨散於墓旁、猶如土壤被人開墾、

They will say,“ As one plows and breaks up the earth, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of the grave.”

They will say,“ As clumps of dirt are left from plowing up the ground, so our bones will be scattered near an open grave.”

As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so shall our bones be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

Like rocks brought up by a plow, the bones of the wicked will lie scattered without burial.

As when one plows and breaks up the soil, turning up rocks, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

As when one plows and breaks open the earth, Our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

Our bones are scattered at the mouth of the grave, As when one plows and breaks up the earth.

As when one ploweth and cleaveth the earth, Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

As when one plows and breaks up the soil, turning up rocks, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth[ wood] upon the earth.

“ As when one plows and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.”

They are absolutely terrified, even by things that do not normally cause fear. For God annihilates those who attack you. You are able to humiliate them because God has rejected them.

Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.

Yet because of you we are killed all day long; we are treated like sheep at the slaughtering block.

Their corpses will lie in the street of the great city that is symbolically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was also crucified.For three and a half days those from every people, tribe, nation, and language will look at their corpses, because they will not permit them to be placed in a tomb.
