Surely I am looking to you, O sovereign LORD. In you I take shelter. Do not expose me to danger!

主耶和华啊，我的眼目仰望你；我投靠你，求你不要将我撇得孤苦！

主耶和华啊，我仰望你，我投靠你，求你不要让我遭害。

主耶和华啊！我的眼睛仰望你；我投靠你，求你不要使我丧命。

然而主耶和华啊，我的眼睛望着你！我投靠了你，求你不要让我暴露在危险中。

主耶和華啊，我仰望你，我投靠你，求你不要讓我遭害。

主耶和華啊！我的眼睛仰望你；我投靠你，求你不要使我喪命。

因為、主永恆主啊，我的眼只向着你；我避難於你裏面；求你不要將我的性命傾倒淨盡。

然而主耶和華啊，我的眼睛望著你！我投靠了你，求你不要讓我暴露在危險中。

主耶和華歟、我目望爾、我身託庇於爾、勿傾我命兮、

我主耶和華兮、我仰望爾、我倚賴爾、勿我遐棄兮、

我舉目盼望主我之天主、我惟仰賴主、求主莫傾滅我命、

我今處危厄。時時虞隕越。吾目惟望主。

But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign Lord; in you I take refuge— do not give me over to death.

But Lord and King, I keep looking to you for help. I go to you for safety. Don’t let me die.

But my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless!

I look to you for help, O Sovereign Lord. You are my refuge; don’t let them kill me.

But my eyes look to you, LORD, my Lord. I seek refuge in you; do not let me die.

For my eyes are toward You, God, the Lord; In You I take refuge; do not leave me defenseless.

But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the Lord; In You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute.

For mine eyes are unto thee, O Jehovah the Lord: In thee do I take refuge; leave not my soul destitute.

But my eyes look to You, Lord God. I seek refuge in You; do not let me die.

But mine eyes[ are] unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

For my eyes are on you, Yahweh, the Lord. In you, I take refuge. Don’t leave my soul destitute.

I look up toward you, the one enthroned in heaven.Look, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female servant look to the hand of her mistress, so my eyes will look to the LORD, our God, until he shows us favor.

I continually look to the LORD for help, for he will free my feet from the enemy’s net.Turn toward me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and oppressed!Deliver me from my distress; rescue me from my suffering!

The oppressed and the poor look for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched from thirst. I, the LORD, will respond to their prayers; I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them.

Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us! We don’t know what we should do; we look to you for help.”

“ I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you.

Give sincere homage! Otherwise he will be angry, and you will die because of your behavior, when his anger quickly ignites. How blessed are all who take shelter in him!

In the LORD I have taken shelter. How can you say to me,“ Flee to a mountain like a bird!

Certainly my enemies chase me. They smash me into the ground. They force me to live in dark regions, like those who have been dead for ages.My strength leaves me; I am absolutely shocked.
