and my enemy will say,“ I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

免得我的仇敌说：“我胜了他”；免得我的敌人在我摇动的时候喜乐。

免得我的仇敌说“我胜了他”；免得我的敌人在我动摇的时候喜乐。

免得我的仇敌说：“我们战胜了他！”免得他们因我败落而欢喜。

免得我的仇敌说：“我胜过了他”；免得我跌倒的时候我的敌人就欢呼。

免得我的仇敌说“我胜过了他”；免得我的敌人在我动摇时快乐。

免得我的仇敵說：我勝了他；免得我的敵人在我搖動的時候喜樂。

免得我的仇敵說「我勝了他」；免得我的敵人在我動搖的時候喜樂。

免得我的仇敵說「我勝了他」；免得我的敵人在我動搖的時候喜樂。

免得我的仇敵說：「我們戰勝了他！」免得他們因我敗落而歡喜。

免得我的仇敵說：“我勝過了他”；免得我跌倒的時候我的敵人就歡呼。

免得我的仇敵說：『我勝了他』，免得我的敵人因我搖動而快樂。

免得我的仇敵說「我勝過了他」；免得我的敵人在我動搖時快樂。

免我仇曰、予已勝之、免敵見余顚躓、而欣喜兮、

恐敵人獲勝而自雄兮、見余傾跌而竊喜兮。

免我仇人云、我已勝之、免我敵人樂我傾跌、

主其垂青兮。應我之求。賜光明於吾目兮。庶免昏睡而長休。

Then my enemies will say,“ We have beaten him.” They will be filled with joy when I die.

lest my enemy say,“ I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.

Don’t let my enemies gloat, saying,“ We have defeated him!” Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall.

My enemy will say,“ I have triumphed over him,” and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.

And my enemy will say,“ I have overcome him,” And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.

Lest my enemy say,“ I have prevailed against him”; Lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; Lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

My enemy will say,“ I have triumphed over him,” and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him;[ and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

Then my enemy will say,“ I have defeated him!” Then my foes will rejoice because I am upended.

lest my enemy say,“ I have prevailed against him;” lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall.

I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

No one can be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted.

For I said,“ Do not let them gloat or exalt themselves over me when my feet slip.”

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

Do not let them think,“ Aha, just what we wanted!” or say,“ We have swallowed him up.”

Do not let those gloat over me who are my enemies without cause; do not let those who hate me without reason maliciously wink the eye.

“ This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. My children are destitute because the enemy has prevailed.”

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

He says to himself,“ God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees.”

Arise, Lord, do not let mortals triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence.

The Canaanites and the other people of the country will hear about this and they will surround us and wipe out our name from the earth. What then will you do for your own great name?”

Then you will know that I the Lord have heard all the contemptible things you have said against the mountains of Israel. You said,“ They have been laid waste and have been given over to us to devour.”You boasted against me and spoke against me without restraint, and I heard it.This is what the Sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
