How I love Your instruction! It is my meditation all day long.

I will lift up my hands to Your commands, which I love, and will meditate on Your statutes.

Since I love Your commands more than gold, even the purest gold,

I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

“ My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work,” Jesus told them.

For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in His steps.

My feet have followed in His tracks; I have kept to His way and not turned aside.I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily food.

Your decrees are my delight and my counselors.

I obey Your decrees and love them greatly.

I long for Your salvation, Lord, and Your instruction is my delight.

For in my inner self I joyfully agree with God’s law.

Your word is completely pure, and Your servant loves it.

And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree with the law that it is good.

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.

Hallelujah! Happy is the man who fears the Lord, taking great delight in His commands.

The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up.The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are reliable and altogether righteous.They are more desirable than gold— than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey, which comes from the honeycomb.
