I will speak of Your decrees before kings and not be ashamed.

I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,

I will talk about your covenant laws to kings. I will not be put to shame.

I will also speak of your testimonies before kings and shall not be put to shame,

I will speak to kings about your laws, and I will not be ashamed.

I will speak of your decrees before kings and not be ashamed.

I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings And shall not be ashamed.

Agrippa said to Paul,“ It is permitted for you to speak for yourself.” Then Paul stretched out his hand and began his defense:“ I consider myself fortunate, King Agrippa, that today I am going to make a defense before you about everything I am accused of by the Jews,

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

You will be driven away from people to live with the wild animals. You will feed on grass like cattle and be drenched with dew from the sky for seven periods of time, until you acknowledge that the Most High is ruler over the kingdom of men, and He gives it to anyone He wants.As for the command to leave the tree’s stump with its roots, your kingdom will be restored to you as soon as you acknowledge that Heaven rules.Therefore, may my advice seem good to you my king. Separate yourself from your sins by doing what is right, and from your injustices by showing mercy to the needy. Perhaps there will be an extension of your prosperity.”

You will even be brought before governors and kings because of Me, to bear witness to them and to the nations.But when they hand you over, don’t worry about how or what you should speak. For you will be given what to say at that hour,

King Nebuchadnezzar, To those of every people, nation, and language, who live in all the earth: May your prosperity increase.I am pleased to tell you about the miracles and wonders the Most High God has done for me.How great are His miracles, and how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation.

So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me His prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God.

I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing Your praise before the heavenly beings.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king,“ Nebuchadnezzar, we don’t need to give you an answer to this question.If the God we serve exists, then He can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He can rescue us from the power of you, the king.But even if He does not rescue us, we want you as king to know that we will not serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”

As he was making his defense this way, Festus exclaimed in a loud voice,“ You’re out of your mind, Paul! Too much study is driving you mad!”But Paul replied,“ I’m not out of my mind, most excellent Festus. On the contrary, I’m speaking words of truth and good judgment.For the king knows about these matters. It is to him I am actually speaking boldly. For I am convinced that none of these things escapes his notice, since this was not done in a corner.King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you believe.”Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”“ I wish before God,” replied Paul,“ that whether easily or with difficulty, not only you but all who listen to me today might become as I am— except for these chains.”

If you are ridiculed for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.None of you, however, should suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or a meddler.But if anyone suffers as a“ Christian,” he should not be ashamed but should glorify God in having that name.

My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all boldness, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.

So now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears we may have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
