我要記念耶和華的作為，是的，我要記念你古時奇妙的事。

「你們不要記念先前的事，也不要顧念往昔的事。看哪，我要做一件新事，現在就要發生了！難道你們不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在荒漠開江河。

我要用我的嘴唇，講述你口中一切的法規。

祝謝了，就掰開，說：「這是我的身體，為了你們的緣故；你們應當如此行，為的是記念我。」晚餐後，他也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約。你們每逢喝的時候，應當如此行，為的是記念我。」你們每逢吃這餅、喝這杯，就是傳揚主的死，直到主來。

隨後，我聽見祭壇說：「是的，主、神、全能者啊，你的審判是真實的、公義的！」

他又拿起餅來，祝謝了，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我的身體，為你們獻上的；你們應當如此行，為的是記念我。」

耶和華我的神哪，你所行的奇妙作為和你向我們所懷的意念甚多，沒有人能與你相比；即使我要宣告述說，也數不勝數！

我的靈魂哪，你要頌讚耶和華！不要忘記他的一切恩惠——

因為他的審判是真實的、公義的，因為他審判了那用自己的淫亂敗壞大地的大淫婦，並且為他奴僕們的血，向那淫婦討回了公道。」
