天地将要消亡，你却继续存留；天地都要像衣服那样渐渐破旧，你把它们像衣袍那样更换，它们就消逝了；

天地都要灭没，你却要长存；天地都要如外衣渐渐旧了。你要将天地如里衣更换，天地就都改变了。

我主立地基。親手設天幕。

你们要向天举目，要俯视大地；因为诸天必像烟云一样消散，大地必像衣服那样渐渐破旧，其上的居民必如蚊虫死去；但我的救恩必存到永远，我的公义也不衰残。

天和地将要消逝，但是我的话绝不会消逝。

天上的万象都要衰亡，天如同书卷要被卷起来；其中的万象都要凋零，如葡萄树的叶子凋零，又如无花果树的叶子凋零。

接着，我看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都从他面前逃避，连它们的地方也找不到了。

因为被造之物屈从在虚妄之下，并不是出于自愿，而是出于使它屈从的那一位；

接着，我看见一个新天新地，因为先前的天和先前的地都已经过去了，海也不再存在了。

耶和华宣告：“我所造的新天新地怎样在我面前长存，你们的后裔和你们的名字也怎样长存。”

“看哪！我要创造一个新天新地，先前的事不再被记念，也不再被想起；

天和地将要消逝，但是我的话绝不会消逝。

但现在的天和地，藉着他的话语得以存留，一直留到不敬神的人受审判和灭亡的日子，被火焚烧。可是，各位蒙爱的人哪，你们不可忽略这一点：在主看来，一日如千年，千年如一日。主没有像有些人认为的那样，拖延所应许的；相反，他对你们恒久忍耐，不愿任何人灭亡，而愿所有人都来悔改。不过，主的日子要来临，就像贼来临那样。在那日，诸天要轰然一声地消逝，天体将被火焚烧而废除，地和地上的作为也都将被暴露出来。既然这一切都要如此被废除，那么，你们应该做什么样的人呢？应该行为圣洁、敬畏神，等候并催促神的日子来临。因为在那日，诸天将被焚烧而废除，天体要被火焚烧而熔化。

唯有你，耶和华啊，永远坐着为王，你的名号存到万代！
