愚者得金、何益之有、蓋使市智慧、而念不及此。

Why should a foolish person try to buy wisdom? They are not even able to understand it.

It is senseless to pay to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning.

當求得真理、智慧、訓誨、達道、永守莫失、莫失原文作不鬻

惰者不勤操作、致為慾心所殺、惰者終日貪圖而不得、善人有餘、施舍不吝、

哲者之心、求得知識、智者之耳、欲聽道學、

其言云、往告此民曰、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、蓋此民之心冥頑、自聾其耳、自閉其目、免其目視耳聽心悟、悔改而我醫之、
