然則何如乎、無論或偽或誠、基督是宣、我則樂之、且終樂之、

然則余將若何、凡事不論真偽、有傳基督道者、我樂之、亦終樂之、

然此亦何妨、其意或偽或誠、無論如何、基督究以是而傳矣、我為之而樂、亦必終樂、

雖然、是亦何傷？無論其心意之誠也偽也、其揄揚基督則一；此吾之所為歡欣鼓舞、而不能自已者也。

But Jesus said to him,“ Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.”

and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from good will:The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains;but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.
